What the fuck?! I thought Japan was weird just because of "FRUiTS" (which is awesome, incidentally), but wow, your profile puts that bizarreness to shame. So tell me, wifey, is it customary in Japan for strange women to come up to girls in the street and make fun of how little money they have, and feel their thongs? Suddenly, I'm really feeling the cultural divide.

Ohh, I love FRUiTS magazine!! Have you ever seen EGG? It's really interesting too!! And Kera, although it's less Japanese-oriented, and more punk-oriented.. anyways,

mmm I dont know about the thong thing, but there's definitely a general frowning-upon of people with very little money... I experienced this while I was there. But then, this isn't unique to Japan, so, you know.. :P

FRUiTS is amazing, I have a book of it. Never heard of EGG or Kera, though.

That's like EGG.. only EGG isn't always that intense.. It usually isn't. but it can be.

XD yeah, Japanese shows are... well, offensive to me. there was one where this hostess went to NYC and asked a random girl to introduce them to one of their girl friends who they thought was prettier than them.. and in the end, it ended up being like a black girl, Mexican-American girl, a bunch of brunettes, and a blond. and the last girl was the Mexican-American one. But the hostess on the Japanese show ended up saying, "wow, isn't it neat how Americans think this Mexican and black person are prettier than the blond? The blond is obviously the prettiest, though!!" I was like.. shocked and horribly offended.

God! I have to admit, the idea of someone saying "Wow, isn't it neat how Americans think this Mexican and black person are prettier than the blond? The blond is obviously the prettiest, though!!" made me laugh, but that's really awful...but then, Americans aren't the most amazingly anti-racist bunch in the universe, either. Americans are just, like...stealthily racist. Racist ninjas.
