I have been told I am, intelligent, funny, cute, eccentric at times, witty, and a great friend. I enjoy theatre more specifically the technical things about it, I love to learn new things, I’m adventurous, I like traveling seeing new places, meeting new people. Expanding my horizons, I enjoy reading, English class, writing, play-writing and stage managing.. Oh one other thing... I'm gay.
But that shouldn't matter, I am who I am, being gay does not define me, it’s not what Taylor McCaslin is, it’s not who he is, it is part of who he is and what defines him, but it’s not him. it’s not fully me. it’s a small part. I am who I am, being gay, straight, bi, confused, it shouldn't matter, I'm not just that gay guy, I have a name, Taylor McCaslin, be my friend or get out of my way, and watch out world, Here I Come! And I am going to JUST BE ME. Life is too short not to live it the way you want. I don’t intend to change who I am for other people. I am proud to say I do have a strong relationship with God, and you know what… he is ok with me being gay. That’s how he made me, and I’m not going to let anyone make me think different.
Theatre is my life, my friends come next, they mean a lot to me, they have been there for me through many hard times. I can say I only have a few best friends, but I have more true friends than I can count. I have been told I'm eccentric, but that's only when I'm feeling really good about life. I am Fierce! I love a good laugh, dirty joke or laughing from something Alex has said. After my friends comes school. After school comes my parents. I'm not going to say much about them, it doesn't matter.
Changing the world is what I hope to do someday, to erase hate, and replace it with love. Its not an easy task, its done one person at a time, but luckily there are many other people out there like me. Who want to change the world for the better. This world we live in is cruel. But you have to just move on. Keeping your head pointed forward and never looking back.
That's another thing about me. I live life in Today. Its only what is happening right now. Nothing more nothing less, the past is the past now lets turn the radio up and hit the gas!
