A Special Time - Sec 10
Section 10
Luke was putting his things away and Noah was looking at a magazine. When the phone rang. "Hello."
It was Eddie. Happy New Year, Mayer. Ready to kick some straight ass."
Noah laughed. "If your talking about basketball, yeah."
Eddie laughed. "Of course. I'm a lover not a fighter."
Noah looked over at Luke as he continued in the other room. "So when is practice."
"This afternoon at 3. Can you be there?" Eddie asked.
Noah put his hand over the phone. "Luke, Eddie wants to practice today is that alright?"
Luke nodded. "Sure."
Eddie chimed in. "Noah you there."
Noah got back on the phone. "I was just talking to Luke. Sure 3 is fine."
"Oh the wife is there." Eddie said sarcastically.
Noah got a little annoyed. "I wish you wouldn't call him that."
Eddie backed off. "Okay. I'll see you at 3. Bye."
"Bye." Noah hung up the phone.
Noah walked into the bedroom. "Are your sure it is okay. This is your first night here."
Luke put his hand on both of Noah's arms. "I'll be fine. You won't be gone long."
Noah smiled. "I'll be back and we can go to dinner."
Luke smiled. "Sounds good."

Noah had just left and Luke was already feeling out of sorts. He started to pick up things, but then he thought Noah wouldn't like it if he started rearranging his apartment. Then he decided that instead of going out he could make something. Maybe pasta. He went into the kitchen and checked the fridge and cabinets. As expected there wasn't much to be found. He went to the desk and got out a pencil and paper and started to make a shopping list, when there was a knock on the door. "Who could that be?"
Luke got up to answer the door. "Noah did you forget something?"
Luke was surprised to see Roth. "Roth what are you doing here? Noah already left for practice."
Roth started to come in, when Luke stepped in front of him. "I know practice started at 3."
Luke could smell something on Roth. "Why aren't you there?"
Roth leaned on the door. "I'm not on the team."
Luke was surprised. "Really. I thought you and Eddie were good friends."
Roth shook his head. "He doesn't want friends. He wants a team that will win."
Luke nodded. "I see, but that doesn't explain why you are here."
Roth pushed his way past Luke. "I'm here because you are here."
Luke turned to face Roth. "Roth, we have been over this and you are obviously drunk or something."
Roth sat on the sofa. "I'm not. Just a little buzzed. So you are living here now?"
Luke walked over to Roth and stood in front of him. "Yeah, as if that is any of your business."
Roth leaned back. "Well, I guess things can change in a couple of days."
Luke crossed his arms in front of himself. "You should also know that all that stuff you were saying about Noah and me being together. Well, you were wrong."
Roth got up off the sofa. "So you finally did the deed."
Luke wanted to give Roth all the details, but he didn't want to cheapen what he and Noah shared. "Yeah if you must put it that way."
Roth grabbed Luke by the face and kissed him. "I could be so much better to you."
Luke stood there for a moment in shock and then hauled off and hit Roth sending him to the sofa. "Don't you ever do that again."
Roth got up. He was enraged. He grabbed Luke and threw him on the sofa. He straddled him and held him down "Who do you think you are? You think that you are better than me. Well, you aren't. You and your precious Noah. All I wanted to do was show you a good time. You liked me. I know you did."
Luke tried to push him off, but he had him pinned and was sitting on his legs.. "Roth get off me."
Roth leaned in and kissed Luke again. "Maybe I can still show you a good time."
Luke couldn't believe how strong Roth was. He was out of control and Luke realized that he was higher than he had originally thought. "Roth what are you doing?"
Luke wrestled with Roth. Trying to get himself free. Roth held Luke tightly. "Stop fighting."
Luke stopped fighting, thinking that he couldn't out wrestle him in his current position. So he laid still. "Okay." He said calmly.
Roth released his grip slightly on Luke, but still held him down. "That's better."
Luke tried to reason with Roth. "Think about this. It's not how you want it to be."
Roth started to kiss Luke's neck. "You'll like it."
Luke could see this was his chance. He got his hands underneath Roth and threw him to the floor. Roth hit his head on the table. "I don't want this." Luke said as he got up from the sofa.
Roth all of a sudden snapped out of his state and looked at Luke. He stood up and looked around the apartment. Roth realized what he had done. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I guess I was more drunk than I thought."
Luke pointed at the door. "You better get out of here before I throw you out."
Roth just continued to say that he was sorry as he left.
Luke locked the door and leaned against it.

seriously roth must go bye. he almost raped luke. damn it. i hope he says something to noah about it. hopefully noah will see the bruises. i want roth to get his.
can't wait to read the next chapter. |
