Section 12 Rated NC 17

It had been a week since the incidence with Roth. Luke had barely seen him and when he did Roth seemed to avoid him. Things with Noah were better than ever and his parents seem to be trying to work things out. Everything was going great. If only he could get a handle on European History. "Must be a good book." Roth said.

Luke looked up. "Oh not really."

Roth looked down at his feet. "I saw you sitting here and I thought I would come over and talk to you. I know that you are probably still mad at me, but with Eddie and Noah playing on the same team, we probably won't be able to avoid each other."

Luke shook his head. "I'm not still mad at you. You were out of control, but it wasn't completely your fault."

Roth perked up. "That's great. Maybe we can start over. I really would like to be friends. I'm happy for you and Noah. You guys have something I probably never will."

Luke looked up at Roth. "I said that I'm not mad at you, but I think it is too soon to even consider being friends."

Roth dropped his head. "I guess that would be expecting too much.

Luke took a sip of his coffee. "Roth there was a time when I was drinking. I did a lot of things that I wish I could undo, so I know what you are going through. However, you did attack me. I'm just glad it didn't go any farther than it did."

Roth nodded. "I swear nothing like that will ever happen again. I get that you and Noah are together. I guess I was just jealous and being high didn't help. I know that there are no excuses for what I did. Maybe in time."

Luke shrugged. "Maybe."

Roth pointed at Luke's book. "What are you working on?"

Luke picked up his book. "Euro History."

Roth nodded. "Prof Schultz."

Luke smiled and held up the book. "Yeah. I hate core courses."

Roth took the book. "She can make what can be an interesting class awfully dry. I suffered through it last year. If I can help you out let me know."

Luke took the book back. "I'll keep that in mind."

Roth started to leave. "Well, I guess I'll be going. Bye."

Luke waved. "Bye."

Noah walked into the locker room to get ready for practice. He was in a great mood. Things with him and Luke had never been better. He was making friends. A year ago he would never have thought that he would be this happy. He walked around the corner of the lockers and was surprised to see Eddie. Eddie and another guy. They were having sex. Noah fell back around the corner. "Oh my God." He whispered to himself.

He wasn't sure what to do. He peeked around the corner. He couldn't help himself as he watched the two men. Eddie was standing behind the man. Noah moved back around the corner. He wasn't sure what to do. He decide to quietly go back out of the locker room. He then entered again pretending like he had just come in. Making sure he made more noise.

Eddie came around the corner. "Hey Noah. Ready for practice?"

Noah started to get dressed. Trying not to look at Eddie. "Yeah."

Luke stopped by the Snyder farm. He walked into the kitchen. His father was working on the sink. "Hi Dad."

Holden looked up. "Luke, what brings you by?"

Luke played with his father's tools on the counter. "Just thought I'd stop by. I hadn't seen you guys in a while."

Holden turned and faced Luke and leaned on the sink. "Is everything okay? How is Noah?"

Luke smiled. "Everything is great. Noah is fine. He is playing on a basketball team, so he has been practicing a lot."

Holden nodded. "Feeling a little left out?"

Luke shook his head. "No, my classes are keeping me plenty busy."

Holden picked up the wrench. "Well, that's good. Do you need any money?"

Luke chuckled. "No. Really Dad everything is fine. Noah and I are happy. Things were a little uneasy at first, but we have settled down and things are pretty uneventful. I just stopped by to see everybody."

Holden looked at Luke. "Are you trying to convince me or yourself, Luke?"

Luke shook his head. "I don't know what you are talking about, besides if there was a problem, I don't think that you would be the one that I would come too."

Holden shrugged. "Okay, but all relationships are pretty much the same. Just because you are gay don't assume that I wouldn't understand."

Luke nodded. "Okay, I won't."

Holden turned back to the sink. "If you really just came out to visit, I'm the only one here, but you can help me with the sink Can you hold the flashlight."

Luke picked up the flashlight and held it for his father. "Just like old times."

Noah had just finished practicing with Eddie and the rest of the guys at the gym, as they headed into the locker room. The memory of the prior incidence chalked up to one more thing that he knew about Eddie. "That was a great practice. What do you say we hit the showers."

Noah threw his towel around his neck and wiped off his forehead. "Yeah, I can certainly use one."

Eddie gave Noah a quick glance. "I don't know there is something about a sweaty man that kind of turns me on." Eddie quickly took off his clothes and headed for the shower.

Noah stripped and followed Eddie. "Yeah, I can kind of agree with that."

The two men talked about the practice and classes as they showered. Neither paying much attention to the other since they had done it many times before. "Have you seen any of the other teams working out at all?" Noah asked.

Eddie rinsed the last of the shampoo out of his hair. "I was scoping out the team that we are suppose to play on Friday. They are good, but we are better."

Noah grabbed his towel and started to walk out. "You are really into this aren't you."

Eddie followed Noah out with his towel wrapped around his waist. "I took a lot of shit when I was growing up. I guess I feel I have something to prove."

They were both over by the bench when Noah dropped his shampoo. He bent down to pick it up just as Eddie removed his towel to dry off his hair. Noah looked up and was face to cock with Eddie. Eddie emerged from under his towel. "Do you want to grab something to drink?"

Noah got home. Luke was sitting on the sofa with his feet on the table, reading the same page for the fifth time. He was in sweats and a t-shirt. Luke looked up from his book when he heard Noah come in. "How was practice?"

Luke was taken by surprise. He put down his book. "What is all this?"
