Ever since I started watching Luke's story and then Luke and Noah's story, I have been impressed by the way Holden has been involved in it. I couldn't get over the way he accepted Luke's coming out; the discussion he had with Luke when they were fixing the tractor and talking about gay relationships; the way he didn't freak out when Luke told him that he told Noah that he loved him.; and that Holden insisted that Faith be told that Nuke had been the victim of gay bashing.
Does a character this loving, understanding only exists in a soup opera? What do you think?

Just saw that they are actually going to have them sleep together. What is wrong with this show. I thought that Paul and Sofie were bad enough, but I could at least see that. Sofie is just grasping and straws and Paul was drunk. Heck with Sofie's new do, she kind of looks like Meg.
Casey and Emily, I kind of like the friend vibe betwwen them. I would much rather them just let them keep that and not go there with them. I know that Emily has her problems, but they need to have her stop robbing the cradle. Casey is even younger than Cris and he is her son's half brother for Christ sake. Not looking forward to this at all

I just been mulling over an idea for a discussion or thread similar to the 1000 things we like about Jake and or Van... .
Only this thread in a way borrows from CBS' Andy Rooney's phrase "did you ever notice?" I came up with it because sometimes I just really want to let loose about the producers' stupid stance about they're trying to portray a real life romance - supporting their arguement against Nuke kissing. Maybe I'm totally out in left field on this proposal but I think it could be funny pointing out the flaws in that arguement by finishing this sentence...did you ever notice on ATWT Such as did you ever notice on ATWT that even though the Snyders live on a farm, you never see or hear chickens, ducks, horses, etc. Not even a dog or a cat? Or did you ever notice on ATWT that the stove seems to move about the Snyder kitchen at will? Or did you ever notice on ATWT that Noah seems to be able to go to school; pay rent and marry Ameera with any visable source of income? Or did you ever notice on ATWT that Luke doesn't appear to keep the same hair color or style for more than two days in a row. How can you finish this sentence...Did you ever notice on ATWT....

I was just reading spoilers for next week on SoapTown USA. They like the Noah/Ameera thing so much, now they are doing it with Paul and Sofie. Sofie is suppose to catch Paul off guard with a kiss. Besides that, they seem to be into these May/December romance things, besides Paul/Sofie they had the Emily is trying t o push Casey out of her life. I really like Billy, why are they doing this to him.

I'm confused. For all the world it looked as if Aaron was leaving the show. Long heartfelt goodbyes, etc. as he "departed" to visit his mother in Seattle. Then---what, 2 weeks later?--he was back. What happened? Was there a contract conflict that got immediately resolved? An uncalled for "ha ha...gotcha" from the writers? Or just an overly dramatic vacation exit for the actor. Anyone know? I have found myself scratching my head over this one.
