Hey baby. Luke said as he leaned over the counter at Java to kiss his boyfriend. Can you take a break soon? Sure. Scott I’m taking my break now ok? Noah said to his co-worker. Yeah ok. But you know I’m leaving as soon as Aaron gets here. Scott said. Yeah, yeah I know. Noah answered. Aaron? Luke asked raising an eyebrow. Don’t start. Noah said rolling his eyes. That’s all he’s been talking about today. Apparently Aaron has some sort of surprise planned for them and that one over there is getting a little excited. Noah teased.

Are you nervous for meeting Kevin later? Noah said as he and Luke sat down. Hmm not really nervous. I just want to know what he wants. Because I’m getting sick of all these blasts form the past. Luke said, his smile getting even bigger. Here you go baby. Noah said as he placed a coffee on the table and a kiss on Luke’s lips. That should show that Kevin guy Luke isn’t available.

Look Kevin I’m sure you didn’t come here to talk about me and my boyfriend so why don’t you cut to the chase. Luke said a little bossy. Wow easy Snyder. No need to get angry. Kevin said getting desperate and a little scared as he saw Noah’s evil glances towards him. You’re seeing someone? Luke asked. Uh no not anymore.. we broke up. That’s the reason I came back to Oakdale actually. We lived together for a while but she kicked me out. Kevin confessed. Why did she kick you out? Luke asked forgetting he was angry at Kevin. She uh.. I uh.. well.. uh.. I uh messed up. I messed up big time. I started drinking again and I uh slept with this other girl and uh.. I got her pregnant and when my girlfriend found out she kicked me out. Kevin said clearly ashamed of himself. You’re.. a dad? Luke asked surprised. No.. Kevin shook his head and looked sad. No I’m not a dad. When the girl found out she was pregnant she had an abortion. Not because she didn’t want a child but because she didn’t want my child. It kind of opens your eyes when someone says that to you, you know. When Denise kicked me out I just drove around the country for a while thinking about my life. That’s when I decided to come home and apologise to you. Kevin said. Wow.. I didn’t expect that.. Luke said still shocked. Look I uh I have to go. Maybe we can talk some more some other time. You still have my number right? Give me a call if you want to meet up. Kevin said as he walked out the door.

So are you going to meet up with him again? Noah asked running his fingers through Luke’s hair while they were lying on the sofa together after a long day. I don’t know. I kind of feel sorry for him you know after what he told me. But maybe that’s exactly what he wants... and I can’t just for forget how he hurt me back then. I mean It’s been years but it still hurts when I think about it. I just don’t know what to do. Luke said closing his eyes and enjoying the feeling of Noah’s fingers in his hair. What do you think I should do? Should I give him another chance? He used to be my best friend.. Yeah a best friend that hurt you. It’s our decision to make but as far as I’m concerned he can rot in hell. Noah said bitter.

What did you and Aaron get up to the other day? What was the big surprise? Noah asked Scott. Wouldn’t you like to know? Scott teased. Oh you can’t just not tell me! I had to put up with you bouncing off the walls with excitement all morning and listen to you going on about Aaron. Noah said. Ok I’ll tell you one thing. Aaron is a very good kisser. Noah said with a huge smile on his face. But don’t you go telling that boyfriend of yours about it. The only person that knows besides you is Faith, Luke’s little sister. She’s looking after the ring for me because I can’t keep it at home because Luke will find it within minutes. Don’t worry I won’t say a thing. Just tell me when you’re celebrating ok? Kevin said in a tone Noah found extremely annoying. He threw the cloth down and put both hands on the counter raising himself up a bit and leaning forward. What the hell do you want? He asked Kevin. Well I wanted to know if Luke had said anything to you about me. Kevin answered calmly but slightly nervous too. If you’re talking about that little sob story of yours then yes he told me. Noah said making it clear he wasn’t buying the story. Luke hasn’t called me. Kevin stated. Yeah well maybe you should learn to take a hint pal.
