The boys walk in together hand in hand with big smiles on their faces. “Hey what are you two so happy about?” Henry asks as he walks over to take their order. “Oh ehm we just had a really good day that’s al” Noah answers. “Yeah I can see that” Henry says smiling. So what can I get you two? The usual?” “Yeah that’s fine. How is Maddie doing?” Luke asks. “Oh she’s doing great. She loves Wesleyan. But why don’t you ask her yourself. She´s back in Oakdale for the summer. Her and Vienna went shopping earlier but I´m expecting them back any minute now.” Henry says. Maddie"Maddie is back? And she didn’t even call us!us!" Luke says shocked. Hey"Hey she only got back last night and Vienna dragged her into town to go shopping this morning. She said something about stopping by the farm tonight though.though." It had been such a horrible time for them. “Hey that’s all in the past ok? Everything worked out in the end and were happy now right? We found the perfect apartment today and we are going to live there together. Just the two of us. It’s going to be our home Noah.” Luke said. Noah smiled and kissed Luke. “Aww it’s good to see you two so happy!” a female voice said. The boys look up and see Maddie standing next to their table. Maddie! Luke says and stands up to hug his friend. How are you? Hey Noah aren’t you going to give me a hug?” “Yeah, yeah of course, come here.” Noah says and gets up to hug her. All awkwardness forgotten. “Good to see you again. Sit down I want to hear all about life at Wesleyan.” “Wesleyan is great, loads of nice people. No I’m not seeing anyone right now. Admit that was your next question. The boys laugh. But what I want to know is what you two are so happy about.” She says. “Well...” Noah starts looking at Luke who nods his head to tell his boyfriend it’s ok. “Luke and I are getting our own place. We actually found the perfect apartment this afternoon. We’re signing the papers later this week and it’ll be ours.” Noah says smiling. “That’s great news guys!” Maddie says and gets up to hug both boys again. “Yeah but keep it quiet for a while, ok Mads” Luke says. “We haven’t told the family yet. Because we don’t want them involved in how our home is going to look and all that. You know how they get.” Maddie nods. “Don’t worry your secret is safe with me.” “You do realise, that you have to help us move now, don’t you?” Noah teases.

In the mean time back at the farm. Are"Are Luke & Noah back yet? Nat asked her dad. No I don’t think so darling. I don’t see Noah’s truck in the driveway so I guess they’re still in town. Why?” Holden answered. “Noah promised to play my new video game with me before dinner. But grandma says dinner is almost ready and he isn’t here yet.” she pouts. Well why don’t I play your game with you? Maybe I’m not as good as Noah but I can try. Holden says. The girl thinks about it but before she can make up her mind the boys walk in. Noah! She runs over to the guy that has become her second big brother over the past few months and grabs his sleeve and starts pulling him towards the living room. “You promised to play my new video game with me before dinner. And dinner is almost ready now so come on!” Noah just smiles and lets the girl drag him with her. “ Where have you two been all day?” Holden asks his son. “Oh you know just.. about. We went to Al’s and guess who’s back in town for the summer? Maddie! We lost track of time talking to her. That’s why we’re so late.

After dinner Luke grabs Noah’s hand and looks at his boyfriend as if to ask Shall we tell them now? Noah squeezes his hand softly in reply. “Uh mum, dad, grandma..” Luke starts. Noah and I we uh have something we want to tell you…” he continues. Noah starts stroking Luke’s hand with his thumb to encourage his boyfriend and to try and calm his nerves. What is it sweetheart? Lily asks. Noah and I are moving out. We found the perfect apartment this afternoon. We found our new home. Luke said smiling.
