I can’t believe we’re actually done now. Luke said looking around the now completely painted and furnished apartment. And I know we promised Faith and Nat they could stay over as soon as the place was finished but I think I’m going to conveniently forget about that. He continued and grinned. Oh you’re a very bad big brother you know that Snyder? Noah said jokingly. Hmm yeah but I have this really hot boyfriend and I just can’t keep my hands off him you know. And I wouldn’t want my sisters to be traumatized for the rest of their lives because they walked into our bedroom at the wrong time. So actually I’m a very good big brother that looks out for his sisters mental health. Luke said wrapping his arms around Noah and kissing him softly. Its great finally having our own place, not having to worry about who might walk in and all that. So when is the house warming party? Maddie asked. Well the family is coming over for dinner on Friday so we were thinking Saturday. That way everyone has seen the place clean and tidy and we won’t have to worry about cleaning much. Noah answered. Ameera said she’d try and come over too and of course you are invited. Luke continued. But there is one thing we wanted to ask you.. do you mind if we invite Casey too? I mean he’s helped us out during the whole Ameera/ICE thing.. and he is our friend.. No, no it’s fine. Invite him. We can be nice to each other. He’s a good guy. I know I used to go out with him. Ok so who else do you want to invite? Noah asked Luke while walking around Oldtowne hand in hand. Uh I don’t know really. Maybe I’ll call Jade see if she can make it. Luke answered. Jade? Oh just because Maddie doesn’t get along with Jade and you still feel guilty towards Maddie for what happened I can’t invite my own cousin to our house warming party?! The crowd that had gathered to see the two boys fight started to applaud. They broke the kiss and blushed, Luke burying his face in Noah’s chest, Noah biting his lip and casting his eyes down. See you at home in a few hours. Luke said when he finally got over the embarrassment and gave Noah a little peck on the lips before walking away.

Hey Luke! Luke heard someone shout his name and he turned around to see who it was that was keeping him from going home to Noah now. He was tired and just wanted to cuddle with his boyfriend on their sofa while watching some dodgy TV show. Hey Luke, how are you man? Long time no see. Reg said. Uh yeah me and Noah have been busy with our apartment and moving and stuff. Luke answered. Yeah you took off so soon the other day at Java. I was wondering if I had said something wrong.. Reg said ignoring Luke’s answer and standing just a little bit closer to Luke. That shirt looks really nice on you. He said putting his hand on Luke’s shoulder. Uh yeah it’s Noah’s actually. But he likes it when I wear his clothes. He says the shirt looks better on me and – Reg interrupted Luke’s nervous stammer by kissing him. Putting his hand in Luke’s neck holding his head in place trying to get Luke to open his lips and let him in. Ignoring the fact that the other boy was trying to get away from him. Then suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder jerking him backwards. What the HELL do you think you’re doing! He heard someone yell at him. Ouch! A fist hit him in the face. Reg licked his lips and tasted blood. Noah! No! Luke yelled. Noah grabbed Reg by the collar of his shirt and pushed him against the wall. Stay. The. Hell. Away. From. Luke. He said through clenched teeth. Because next time I won’t hold back. Understand? Noah turned around to face Luke and the expression on his face softened. You ok baby? Luke nodded. Come on let’s get out of here. Noah said putting his arm around Luke leading him away from Reg and the crowd that had gathered to watch the fight.
Noah I swear I didn’t kiss him. He just kissed me out of the blue and I hated it and.. what are you doing here anyway? I thought we said I’d meet you at home after class? Luke said as the two boys were walking to Noah’s truck. I missed you and I didn’t want to wait until you got home so I came to pick you up. And you don’t have to explain yourself baby. I saw everything. I know you didn’t kiss that creep. Noah said and kissed the top of Luke’s head. Come on let’s go home and just forget about this day. We’ll get some Chinese food on the way home and I’ll put some blankets on the sofa and we can just relax and watch a film together or something. Noah said. Hmm yeah I’d like that. Luke said and kissed Noah once more before getting in the truck.
