When the Doctor went back into the room Noah was standing up in the middle of the room and he had tears running down his cheeks
“Hey… what happened?”
“I told him to go… “
“Why? What’s wrong with you? You love him, don’t you?”
“Yes”
“Then?”
“Then? He has a son, damn it, I don’t want his son related to me, to my father…”
“Then do something to get rid of your father, Noah, it’s pretty simple”
Later on he went back home in a taxi thinking about Luke and Aaron, and the good doctor… The next morning he sat on the sofa and thought about his life, about what he wanted it to be like. He spent a whole week at home. They fired him at the studio and he lost track of time, he just waited… and one day someone rang the doorbell. He smiled and stood up. Opened the door and there he was… his dad.
“You came to finish what you started? Because I am still gay, dad, two broken ribs haven’t changed that”
“I will make a man out of you, Noah, don’t you doubt it for a second. You are my son and”
“You never saw me… how unhappy I was, how much I just wanted you to like me, all you saw were all the ways I never measure up to your expectations, starting with the fact that I am…”
“Don’t you dare say it”
“I am sorry, Dad, but I am in love with a man and that makes me gay, and I have loved him for 10 years, I”
Noah couldn’t finish his sentence because his father punched him in the face. He could feel his lip ripped open, and blood pouring out…
“I still love him, dad”
Noah got his phone and dialed
“Who are you calling?”
“Yes, this is Noah Mayer, he is here… okay”
He hung up the phone and felt better than ever. His dad was looking at him trying to understand what had just happened
“Let me tell you something. I am gay, and I love Luke. That will never change, so you might as well accept it once and for all”
He heard voices and opened the door. 2 policemen were waiting
“Mr. Mayer?”
Noah smiled
“Yes, he’s here”
The officers went inside and took hold of the colonel
“You will never be a Mayer”
“You are right, I won’t be a Mayer anymore. Don’t bother looking for me if you get out of jail again, I will still be gay, but I won’t be your son.”
They took him away and Noah looked around… He was free, at last…
“Hey… what happened?”

“Why? What’s wrong with you? You love him, don’t you?”
“Yes”
“Then?”
