Noah broke the kiss and looked at Luke

“But...”

Luke kissed him again and started unbuttoning Noah’s shirt. Opening it, he put his hands in Noah’s chest and heard him groan

“Mhh… Luke…”

“Do you want me to stop?”

“Shit, no… but maybe we…”

Luke kissed Noah’s chest

“No maybes”

“We should talk”

“Too much talking already”

He pushed Noah until he was lying on his back and straddled Noah’s legs

“Do you know how many times I’ve wondered what it would feel like to touch you?”

“Probably not as many as I did”

Noah pulled Luke closer by the shirt and kissed him. He broke the kiss but stayed very close to his face

“Take it off”

Luke smiled and took his shirt off

“Does that mean that you don’t want to talk anymore?”

“That means that you are just too irresistible for my own good”

Luke laughed and Noah moaned and ran his hands over Luke’s chest and back

“Hell, shut up and kiss me, Snyder”

Luke kissed him and looked into Noah’s blue eyes

“I missed you, and I need to say something”

“Now? Now that I don’t want to talk?”

“I never hated you”

Noah smiled

“Ah, ok, that’s good to know”

“That doesn’t mean that I forgive you, though, for leaving me”

Luke dropped kisses over Noah’s chest

“Mmh… you don’t?”

“No… not yet”

“Ahh… I’m sorry…”

Luke looked at him

“Let’s see if I forgive you in a few hours”

Noah smiled

“Okay…”

“You realize that this is not the farm and we are not 19 anymore, do you?”

“Aha…“

“And that no one is going to stop us after one kiss”

Noah couldn’t stop smiling. The evening was going so much better than he’d expected that he wasn’t going to complain

“Promise?”

Luke started unbuckling Noah’s belt and smiled

“I promise”

And opened Noah’s zip with a wicked smile.

Later on they were lying naked on the sofa, Luke had his head in Noah’s chest and they hadn’t said a word in what felt like an eternity. Noah was stroking Luke’s back

“Noah”

“Mh?”

“That was…”

Noah smiled

“Not just one kiss at the farm”

Luke smiled and kissed Noah’s chest

“No, definitively”

Luke put his hand in Noah’s chest and rested his head with his chin on top of his hand. He smiled when he looked at Noah, with his hair standing up and that beautiful smile… he brushed Noah’s lips with the tip of his finger

“You are so beautiful… I think I had forgotten how beautiful you really are”

Noah blushed under Luke’s intense gaze and Luke laughed

“Hey, you are blushing”

“Funny, Snyder, very funny”

Luke kissed him and looked at him

“Can I ask you something?”

“Sure”

“Do you have a bed?”

“A bed? Sure… of course…”

Luke smiled

“Your sofa is not that comfortable…”

“Mh… right…”

“Noah… do you want me to go?”

“Go? No, shit, just caught me by surprise… didn’t expect any of this to happen today”

Luke smiled

“Me neither, believe me. I came here ready to kill you and here I am, naked on your not so comfortable sofa”

He stroked Noah’s chest

“On top of a very naked you… who would’ve thought after all this time?”

“Not me, but it feels good”

“It feels better than good to me”

Noah smiled

“I have a shower too, wanna try that one first?”

“Lead the way”

Noah laughed

When Noah woke up he was alone in his bed. He smiled remembering the events of the previous night and got up ready to look for Luke and make sure he hadn’t dreamed any of that.

He walked out of the bedroom wearing only his boxers and found Luke sitting down on the sofa with the black cap on, he stopped for a bit and Luke turned around to see him

“Hey, there”

“Hey…”

Noah just looked at him and leant against the window

“I found this a while ago”

“You should’ve woken me up if you couldn’t sleep”

Luke smiled and blushed

“I am not used to nights like this… I needed to think”

“You were pretty forward last night, it sure looked like you knew what you were doing”

“I guess I just let my instincts take over… we haven’t seen each other in 7 years, and we weren’t even friends last night… and we spend half the night making love, just like that…”

He smiled shyly

“Last night couldn’t even be considered a first date, right? I guess I’m feeling very easy…”

Noah just kept looking at him, he was listening to what he was saying, but he couldn’t keep his eyes off of the cap in Luke’s head

“I feel like I should’ve snuck out before you woke up”

“Take it off”

“What?”

“The cap, take it off…”

Luke took the cap off his head and looked at it

“It’s my cap, right? The one I was wearing that day…”

Noah just nodded

“I had completely forgotten about it…”

He traced the cap with his fingers and smiled sadly

“Haven’t done a lot of fishing since that day”

“I can’t say sorry any more, I’ve felt guilty every single day since that day. The cap is there to remind me of what happened… but I just can’t say sorry any more, I’ve said it enough”

Luke smiled and tried to make a joke

“Not to me”

It didn’t come out as a joke…

“Your parents blamed me”

“My father for a while, not my mother, she kept looking for you cos she had this crazy idea that I would heal faster with you by my side… and I told my father that you were a good guy, but I guess that you dissapearing on me didn’t help”

“You still can’t forgive me…”
