In that moment they heard the sound of keys. Noah started looking for his trousers

“Shit”

Luke looked at Noah

“What?”

“Get dressed!”

Luke looked at the door just in time to see it being opened

“What the”

Luke stood up and didn’t have time to look for his clothes before the door was opened and a blond woman entered the apartment. Luke just looked at her. It was the “honey” woman… The one from the other day. Luke looked at Noah and saw that he didn’t have time to put his trousers on either. They had to look pretty stupid standing up in the middle of the room wearing only boxers…

“Noah?…”

“Lisa…”

Noah looked at Luke, who blushed

“Ermh… I’ll just…”

Luke started looking for his clothes and picking them up

“No, Luke, wait”

Luke didn’t listen and once he got everything he went into Noah’s room to dress

“He’s cute, hun”

“Just shut up, Lisa”

He went after Luke who was getting dressed in a frenzy talking to himself

“Luke”

“Don’t say anything… I should’ve never come here… I must be crazy…”

“Just listen to me”

Luke finished getting dressed and left the room

“Nice meeting you…”

He walked past the blond woman and opened the door of the apartment

“Luke, please”

Luke just kept walking and left the apartment closing the door behind him, he leaned against the wall and heard the woman talking

“Noah Mayer, I didn’t know you were into one night stands”

He closed his eyes and stayed still praying for Noah to say something that wouldn’t hurt

“Maybe you don’t know me that much”

But he didn’t. He said that instead. Luke looked at the door and turned around. He left the building still in a hurry, trying to run away from what he’d heard, from Noah and the night they had just shared.

By the time he arrived at home he was feeling depressed and stupid. Why on earth did he spend the night with Noah? The evening had been just the 2 of them, like in the past. It had felt so good to finally be with him. But when he woke up in Noah’s bed and had looked around at his bedroom he had seen the mistake.

He didn’t know Noah anymore. He was a stranger and yet he had given himself to him completely. He hadn’t held back at all.

No more Noah Mayer for him. That was it. It was probably true that he hadn’t forgiven him for leaving him when he needed him the most. And it was definitively true that he was in love with him and there was nothing he could do about that.

And what was going on with the blond woman? She had keys to Noah’s apartment, and the way Noah had gotten into a frenzy when he’d heard the keys in the lock… what was that about?

“Shit, I told you not to use the key, didn’t I?”

Noah put his trousers on and looked at her

“He was really cute, honey”

“Don’t call me honey. What do you want?”

“I need help with my computer”

She picked up Noah’s shirt from the floor

“So many times hearing you say that you would never have a one night stand with a guy and…”

“Stop it, Lisa”

“No, really, why? I’ve known you for 3 years, and you haven’t been with a guy in all this time, and now this?”

“I’ll take whatever he wants to give me… if it’s one night I’ll take one night…”

“What? Who’s that guy?”

“The one, and thanks to you he’s gone and I don’t have his number or address, thank you so much”

“Sorry, how was I supposed to know?”

“I told you not to use the key, shit. I gave it to you for emergencies, not to interrupt me whenever you want!”

He took the shirt from her hands and put it on. He sat down in front of his computer and started typing

“What are you doing, now?”

“I’m trying to find him. I am not letting him go again. We are grown ups, now, if his parents don’t like me they can just look the other way!”

“You know his parents already? That was fast”

“I don’t have time for this right now, Lisa, and I’m sorry but I’m not fixing your computer. I have to talk to him”

An hour later Noah found himself looking at Luke’s door. He was trying to come up with something to say to him. He knew that something had put Luke off, way before Lisa entered the apartment. He saw it in his eyes when he found Luke sitting down in the living room by himself .

“Ok, Mayer… now or never…”

He knocked on the door and heard footsteps approaching him from the other side. He realized his hands were sweating and rubbed them againt his trousers. Luke opened the door and looked at Noah

“We have to talk”

“No, we don’t. Go”

He was going to close the door and Noah tried to stop it but Luke didn’t see it and Noah’s hand was caught.

“AHHH!”

“Shit… sorry”

“You just broke my hand!”
