Welcome to the December 28, 2007 Episode Continuation! After the show on Friday December 28th NukeLover will start us off with what happened when the episode ended and everyone is encouraged to add to it. Your addition should be 250 words or less. Well, I was hoping for more to work with today, but here goes.

Luke and Noah approached the house at the farm. Luke opened the door to the kitchen. "Looks like everyone is asleep."

Noah started to turn on the light. Luke put his hand on Noah's . "No, don't. I like it like this. Besides we wouldn't want to wake anyone up."

He took Noah's hand and led him into the parlor. When they reached the parlor Luke turned and faced Noah. "You probably didn't have much fun tonight. Being out with me for the first time with all those people. I'm sorry that I'm always pushing you into things. Along with talking too much, I guess patience isn't one of my strong suits."

Noah walked over to the radio and tuned it to some soft music. "I know that I'm slow with these things, but it is new to me. I had a wonderful time, because I was with you. That is what is important to me." Noah stepped close to Luke. "You know that guy was okay, but I prefer this type of music. Do you want to dance?'

Luke smiled. "I'd love to."

Noah took Luke's cane and put it near the sofa. "You don't need this, I won't let you fall."

Noah took Luke's arms and put them up around his neck and placed his arms around Luke's waist. They swayed in the dim light staring into each other's eyes. Luke leaned his head on Noah's shoulder. "Parties are nice, but this is so much better."

Noah smiled and held Luke tight. After the song ended. The announcer began to count down to midnight. "3,2,1. Happy New Year."

Noah took Luke's face into his hands. "Happy New Year, Snyder."

Luke looked into Noah's eyes. "Happy New Year."

They kissed gently at first, but quickly got carried away as they made their way to the sofa.

"Noah, I've wanted you like this for so long..." Luke pulled Noah into his embrace, pulling his head back and then kissing the tip of Noah's nose.

Noah blushed. "I want you, too, Luke." Noah's hands made their way under Luke's shirt, and Noah pulled Luke back into him. Luke's hand mirrored Noah's, and the two began kissing again as they each dug their fingers into the other's back.

As they carried on, Noah pulled his head back again, but kept kneading Luke's back with both hands, letting them dance closer and closer to Luke's waist and the treasures below. "Luke, I really do hope you're happy. Because I meant what I said in my card--being with you has made me happier than I've ever been."

Luke looked right at Noah and stopped his hands for a moment. "Noah, of course you make me happy. You were here every day, helping me walk again. When everything else in my life is darkness, you're a beacon of light. I meant what I said that night, too: I love you."

Noah delivered a quick kiss to Luke's lips, then retreated again. "Well, I want to start 2008 out by telling you, Luke..." Noah paused.

Luke's voice lowered to a whisper and he cocked his head slightly. "Tell me what?"

"That I love you, too, Luke." Noah's eyes welled up; Luke reached up to wipe away a small tear even as his own eyes began to fill. They held each other for a moment before Luke whispered into Noah's ear, "I want you. Now."

Noah pulled away again. "Now? Here?"

Luke nodded and reached for Noah's waist. "Yeah, no more waiting. I'm ready."

As Noah's look of panic melted into one of glee, a loud noise startled the couple. The farm door slammed, the kitchen light turned on, and Holden called out, "Happy New Year! Anyone here?"

Luke and Noah pulled apart on the sofa as Holden walked into the room and flipped on the parlor light.

''Oh, hi guys,'' Holden said. ''Did I interrupt anything?''
Luke began to stand up and walked over to his father, ''No, dad. Happy New Year.'' Luke gave his father a hug.
''Maybe I should have knocked first,'' Holden said.
''That would have been an great idea, but since you're here, where is everybody?'' Luke asked.
''Still at the party. I was getting bored and went home..'' Holden realised why the lights were off, and the two of them were sitting on the couch. ''Oops, I did interrupt something.. I'm so sorry. Do you want me to leave again?''
''No, dad, it's okay. Stay here,'' Luke said looking at Noah.
''No, no, no, I should go. I'll bother someone else with my Happy New Year speech.'' Holden went off as fast as he got in.

Noah didn't want to take things further, since he was pretty scared that Luke's dad barged in like that. Luke understood where he was coming from. He had an idea.
''Noah? Why don't we go outside and watch the fireworks?''

Thank god he wanted to do that. Luke locked the door and took off with Noah. They went to the place where they had the best view.

''Isn't this beautiful? All those fireworks. I'm sorry about my dad,'' Luke said.
''Don't be. You didn't know he came home. Besides, this is good too,'' Noah replied.

Luke leaned against Noah as they watched the beautiful fireworks. Everything seemed just fine, until Luke heard something in the bushes. It reminded him of the few times that bio dad Damien was following him. Could it be him again? No way, Luke thought.
''What's wrong?'' Noah asked.
Luke shook his head, watching the bushes, ''Nothing, I guess.''

Noah was rubbing his hands on Luke’s arms as they watched the fireworks from Old Town just outside of the mud porch. “Are you getting cold?”

“No,” Luke almost cooed into his ear turning slightly towards his face from where his back was pressed against Noah’s chest. “I just want to stand here a few more minutes, with you.”

“Sounds good,” Noah said as he completed the fold of his arms around Luke. “So do you want to share those deep thoughts in that head of yours?”

“Not so much deep as…” he paused to consider the words, “thankful.”

“Really,” Noah smiled swinging them both slightly from side to side. “For what?” He said it like a small child which made Luke giggle.

Luke spun around slowly placing both hands on the side of Noah’s face. “For not having to fear spend another three hundred and sixty five days alone,” he ran his thumb across Noah’s lips. “This is the first year I can look my boyfriend in the eyes lean in close and press our lips together,” which he does pulling back, “and tell him how madly in love I am with him.”

“Luke I can’t…” Noah started but was hushed.

“I know you can’t say it right now,” Luke smiled warmly. “But we have the next twelve months to work on it,” his face took an evil glint. “And the best part,” he grinned like a little boy, “it’s a leap year.”

They laughed and kissed again.

“Luke…I’m thankful, too, you know. When I think back to last New Year’s…wow. I can’t even tell you how far off my radar this would’ve been. In Oakdale? With my boyfriend?!”, Noah leaned in even closer and whispered in Luke’s ear, “With my hot boyfriend?!”

Luke smirked, and blushed just a bit.

Noah continued, “I’m so thankful to you for helping me get to the point where I could go into the new year being honest for the first time. Honest with myself, honest with my father. And you’ve helped me see how much closer we can be when we’re being honest with each other. There’s no way I can ever thank you enough.”

“I’m glad you feel that way, Noah…I didn’t want to push you to do anything you weren’t ready for…I just wanted the people I cared about to be happy.”, Luke said.

“I can’t work miracles…my parents have to figure out what makes sense for them. But if the last week is any indication, maybe at least a few of us really can be happy in 2008.”

Noah smiled. “So far, so good! One hour of 2008 down…and I couldn’t be happier.” The young men kissed again.

“C’mon…if I know my family, my Grandma will be making hot cocoa for Parker, JJ, and Brad by now…let’s go get some.”

“Alright…but then it’s bed time for you, Snyder…you need to rest up.” There was a twinkle in Noah’s eyes. “I have big plans for us for tomorrow!”

Noah arrived at the Snyder farm too early for New Years Day and Luke was not ready to go anywhere.

Laughing at Luke's sleepy eyes and resistance to get ready, Noah helped his boyfriend choose an outfit and then waited in the parlor while Luke took a shower.

He sat in silence while going over different plans in his head. He was so lost in thought that he didn't even notice Faith, Natalie and Sage show up at his side.

"Noah!" Faith yelled out in excitement.

"Hi," Noah smiled and looked at the three young girls.

"Do you want to play a game with us?" Natalie asked while pulling on his arm, even though she couldn't even budge the tall man.

"Sorry girls, I have plans. I'm waiting for Luke." Noah just smirked at looked at the room entrance hoping Luke would walk through.

"You spend all your time with Luke," Natalie whined.

"He's supposed to," Faith replied defending her brother's boyfriend, "that's what couples do. Let's go see if dad will play."

Natalie and Sage agreed and left with Faith.

Noah watched as they left and continued to stare at the entrance. Either Luke had fallen in the shower or he was fixing himself up really good for Noah.

Meanwhile, Luke was staring at himself in the mirror. He was trying to lay his hair out perfectly when he heard a knock on the bathroom door.

"Come in," Luke said while coming his fingers through his wet hair.

"Don't do anymore, it looks perfect," Noah said as he walked in the bathroom.

"Are you sure?" Luke asked truly concerned over his appearance.

"Great," Noah replied sitting down on the toilet, "I came upstairs wondering if you were dead or if you were fussing over your hair."

Luke only shook his head and looked over at Noah, "I usually don't care about my hair, I really don't, but today he's being a real bitch."

Noah laughed, "I see you're almost done. I'll meet you in the kitchen."

Luke nodded and Noah headed back downstairs.

Luke looked at the pic he had on his bathroom mirror of Noah. and began to sing at his reflection.

" I wanna be loved by you just you and no body else but you. I wanna be loved by you alone !"

And it was true. His heart belonged to one man. Noah being the sweetie he was had asked Lukes mother to dance when they had met her at metro. Luke had sat watching him ease lily across the floor, That made luke fall in love with his boyfriend even deeper. and he hated to admit it . He was a little envious of his own mother. But he got over it when Noah had finally asked him to dance.

" Hey Snyder !" He heard Noah's voice " quit hogging that mirror and get that cute ass of yours down here."
Luke walked down the stairs and opened the door. He found Noah waiting for him with his coat on and holding Luke's coat in his hand. Noah helped Luke on with his coat.

Luke looked at him

"You really think my ass is cute?"

Noah pinched Luke's ass as he walked away.

"Yep yep yep I surely do Mister Snyder I urley does Luke kissed him .

Noah spoke "So are you ready or Does m lady need more primping in front of the mirror.?"

Luke rolled his eyes. "Oh that is just soo funny that i sooooo forgot to laugh."

Noah smiled as he kissed his boyfriend and then he lead him out the door.

They sat in Noah's truck and Luke looked at his boyfriend. Ok he wondered Just what do you have planned for us Mayer. Luke didn't have long to find out.

“You do know we have to be back in time for dinner, right?” Luke grinned as Noah drove toward town.

“What if I told you I got a special dispensation from Grandma Emma?” Noah grinned back.

“No! You didn’t!” Luke’s grin opened into that lopsided smile that Noah had come to love.

“You’re right, I didn’t. But I had you going, didn’t I?” Noah kept his eyes on the road, but didn’t miss Luke shaking his head as he laughed. “Don’t worry, we won’t be gone long.”

“Why are we at WOAK?” Luke asked, shaking his head and giving Noah that half-grin as he narrowed his eyes.

“You’ll see…” Noah was loving the suspense. Noah ducked his head as Luke gave him his best fake-pleading look, but Noah didn’t say another word.

“You do know they’re closed, right? And… we don’t actually work here anymore?” Luke asked.

“Trust me.” Luke took a deep breath. “Okay. Lead on. I just hope this doesn’t end up with us having to get bailed out of jail…” although it might be worth it to have a few uninterrupted moments, he thought.

“Here we are!” Noah announced with a flourish.

“Which is where…exactly…?” Luke looked around him at the familiar office. Memories flooded over him. He walked slowly around the table, leaning heavily on his cane. “What…?”

“You remember, right?” Noah asked hoarsely, as Luke approached him.

“How could I forget…” whispered Luke as he reached up to straighten Noah’s tie.
