Aaron ran and hid behind Noah’s leg holding onto it for dear life and Noah looked over Luke’s shoulder at the huge guy standing next to them looking uncomfortable. Luke moved away from Noah and smiled

“I want you to meet the w… I mean, Ben… he saved our lives today”

Noah looked at Ben

“I don’t know what to say…”

“You don’t have to say anything”

Noah almost flinched when he felt Aaron tightening the hold on his leg. The guy’s voice was like a thunder.

“Ah, honey”

He held Aaron’s hand and looked at Ben again. Hell, the guy was so big… he kind of reminded him of someone, but couldn’t remember who. He held out his hand

“Thank you… thank you so much”

Ben shook his hand and it was all he could do not to beg him to let go of it.

“And this is Aaron, our son”

Aaron looked from behind Noah’s leg

“Did you drink a lot of milk when you were little?”

The Wall squatted down in front of the boy

“Yes, I did, and you? Do you drink a lot of milk?”

Aaron nodded

“You are bigger than my dad”

Aaron pointed a little finger at Noah and Ben looked up towards him

“Mh, I don’t know, you think so?”

He stood up in front of Noah. He must’ve been kidding, the guy looked way taller than him

“Yes, maybe you are right”

Ben looked at Luke

“I should get going”

“Would you like to come back someday for lunch or supper?”

“Ehm… sure, why not…”

“Good. Thank you, Ben, really… without you I would’ve been too scared to talk, probably”

“Nah, you would’ve been just fine”

“Ben, I mean it… thanks…”

“It’s okay, just doing my job”

“It wasn’t just a job for me, it was my family… and what the hell…”

He hugged The Wall with all his might. Noah had to supress a chuckle at the image in front of his eyes. The guy looked really uncomfortable again and didn’t know what to do with his arms. And he couldn’t really see Luke, the guy just swallowed him whole when he decided that he knew what to do with his arms after all and patted Luke’s back.

“Are you The Thing?”

Ah, that’s it, The Thing… Fantastic four… Noah looked at Aaron blushing

“Hey, honey…”

The Wall looked at the little boy and smiled

“I do look like him a lot, don’t I?”

Aaron nodded and The Wall smiled at him and caressed his nose. How sweet for a guy this size and strenght to be able to caress a boy like that… Luke and Noah looked at him and Aaron smiled and let go of Noah’s leg

“Will you come another day and play? We can have pizza”

“I’d love to do that, Aaron”

“Okay”

“Okay, then”

He looked at Luke and Noah

“I’m going, now”

“Thanks, Ben, I’ll call you”

“Yes, do that… you have a great family”

Luke felt his eyes watering

“I know…”

Ben left and Noah held Luke’s hand

“Free?”

Luke looked at him and nodded, he held Noah and let himself be held for a while

“You okay?”

Luke nodded

“Just hold me for a while, ok?”

“Sure, babe, I can hold you for as long as you want”

He kissed Luke’s hair and stroked his back

The day after Noah woke up and heard the sound of the shower in the bathroom. He smiled and touched Luke’s empty side of the bed. He was singing in the shower… Noah smiled, what was that? True colors? He laughed and stood up and walked into the bathroom. There he was: his husband, singing “True colors”. Noah took off his clothes and opened the shower door. Luke turned around smiling

“Hey, babe”

“Hey, babe”

Noah hugged Luke and stroked his back

“You didn’t have any nightmares last night”

“And you slept all night”

“Life’s good, uh?”

Luke smiled. He felt good. They’d freed themselves from the colonel the day before thanks to Luke’s threats and Ben, or The Wall, as Luke liked to call him. He hadn’t been this happy in months.

“Want me to wash your back?”

Luke laughed at that

“I already washed myself, why don’t I wash yours?”

“Sounds good to me”

Noah turned around and Luke started washing Noah’s back with his hands

“I haven’t felt this good in months”

Noah turned around and Luke touched his chest. They kissed and Noah held his face in his hands. Luke caressed Noah’s scar from the surgery. He looked at it while Noah looked at him. Luke ran his finger along the scar

“Don’t”

“Yes”

“It’s ugly”

“It’s you being alive, Noah… its beautiful”

Luke dropped kisses along the scar, following the fine line. Noah leaned back against the wall of the shower and moaned.

“It reminds me that you are here, with me… that you could’ve died and yet you didn’t… you are alive…”

Noah pulled Luke closer to him and kissed him. He thread his fingers through Luke’s blond hair loving how it felt. They kissed and kissed until they had to get some air. They looked at each other and put their foreheads together

“We are free, right? It wasn’t a dream?”

Luke smiled and kissed him again

“It’s true…”

“It feels amazing”

Luke smiled and rubbed himself against Noah’s body

“You do too…”

Noah groaned and let his hands wander down through Luke’s back. He pulled him closer still and closed his eyes while his husband started stroking him. Luke put his head next to Noah’s and whispered in his ear

“Touch me…”

“Mmmhh…”

They both had their eyes closed and were breathing heavily while stroking each other. Luke bit Noah’s neck

“Ahhh, babe… I’m…”

“Me too…”

They both picked up speed while Luke continued whispering in Noah’s ear

“Ah… ahh…”

“Yesss….”

They both exploded at the same time and stayed holding each other for what seemed like an eternity

“I love you…”

Noah smiled

“Same here”

“God… I feel like going back to bed and staying there all day…”

Noah looked at him and brushed Luke’s hair away from his eyes, he loved Luke’s hair

“I know the feeling”

He kissed Luke again. Noah was lying against the wall and Luke against Noah. None of them felt like they could move. Noah couldn’t stop touching Luke

“Noah…”

“Mmh?”

“Will you still want to shower with me in 30 years?”

Noah smiled at that

“Sure, babe, and in 40 or 50”

Luke smiled. It would be amazing. One year living with Noah had been fulfilling, beautiful… perfect. 50 years with him would be like a dream.

“I might not be able to be up to other things apart from washing your back, though”

Luke laughed

“Pun intented?”

“Aha”

Noah kissed Luke and looked at his face

“You are so beautiful… sometimes I feel like I’m dreaming”

Luke blushed and pinch him playfully in his shoulder

“Auch”

“See? You are awake, tell me when you think you are dreaming and I’ll make sure you know you aren’t”

He got out of the shower and put a towel around his waist and got into their bedroom.

“Very funny, hun”

He rubbed his shoulder while getting out of the shower

They put boxers and a pair of jeans on and Noah looked at Luke. He was so hot he couldn’t stop himself and he put his arms around his waist and kissed along his neck, Luke smiled

“Noah…”

Noah pushed him on the bed until they were both lying down and started kissing him. He was lying on top of Luke and could feel him all the way from his lips to his toes.

“Dad! Daddy?”

Noah put his face in Luke’s neck. Luke caressed Noah’s neck and kissed his side smiling

“Back to real life, uh?”

“I love him, but”

“Sometimes you feel like killing him?”

“Mmh”

“I know… get up”

“I don’t want to”

The door opened and they both looked at their son. He was still half asleep and had his teddy bear on one hand and he was rubbing his eyes with the other hand. His hair was standing up and the tshirt of his pjs was well above his tummy.

Luke and Noah smiled at the image in front of them. Luke caressed Noah’s back

“You think life can’t get any better and…”

Noah smiled

“And it can, good morning, Aaron”

“Can I have chocolate cereals for breakfast?”

“Sure you can, honey”

“Cool, dude”

Noah looked at Luke and laughed, Luke smiled

“He’s spending way too much time with Ethan”

Aaron was still standing up by the door, Luke stretched his arm towards him

“Come and lie down for a little, sunshine, you’re still half asleep”

Aaron climbed on the bed and lay down next to them

“Now”

Luke looked at Noah

“What?”

“Pinch me now”
