Hey all you FF authors, just wanted to let you know that I am now officially a Beta reader (hurrah!), and I am absolutely willing to look over anything and everything you might want to have proofread. Please feel free to contact me if you have ANY spelling/formatting/grammar related questions about your stories, or if you just want general suggestions.

The FF section is in need of new Betas and that's why I'm asking you if anyone out there is interested to be one.
Being a Beta means: 1. Helping out with proofreading FFs and correcting grammar or other trouble with texts when help is asked for. (Authors will contact you, not vice versa) 2. You individually work out with each author that has asked for your help what kind of help they want. We're all different! 3. You should obviously be VERY good in English ;) It does not mean: 1. Randomly correcting grammar in FFs you happen to come across. 2. Changing a text so much that it's no longer the author's. (Incidents like these have occurred a few times) If you are interested, please state so in this thread or send me a PM and I will add you to our list of Betas. Also if you have any questions, feel free to ask them here so we can all get the answer! :)

It says, "list of warnings below"
but there are none. Am I just being silly?

hey guys!
please remember to post the right warnings and ratings for your stories. If you're not sure what rating to use, take a look at the FF FAQ page http://www.lukeandnoahfans.com/page/FAQ+-+FF where everything is explained. Some people don't like graphic sex or Mpreg or violent stories or even Luke or Noah with someone else. So by putting the right warnings, ratings and genres on them, no-one should accidentally read something they don't like. And remember - the closing date for this month's FF challenge is March 28th! Thanks! And keep writing those stories - there's no such thing as too much FanFiction!

| CacklingPomegranate | What's the wiki's policy on sapping your FF for ideas? | 8 | Feb 3 2009, 11:52 PM EST by CacklingPomegranate | ||||

Lol, okay, I didn't know how to phrase this on the subject line, but what I want to know is whether it's considered okay to take ideas from YOUR OWN FF and use it in other, non-FF stories? Factoring in that there is always the vague possibility that these stories could wind up in competition and stuff. I've wondered this a few times--I'll write a story, send it in to some kind of contest (I do this a lot, hehehe), and then go "Whoa, that would make a great Nuke FF." Or the other way a round--write a FF and then wish I had made it a non-Nuke story. What's the policy on this?
