Luke couldn´t believe that he had said that to Noah.“Maybe you should listen to him.” God it came out of my mouth before I could even think about it. Of course he didn´t want to talk or listen to his father.

He looked at Noah´s dad who was still standing in the hallway. “You can leave now. Noah doesn´t want you here.”

“Looks like he doesn´t want you here either, kid.” Winston replied with a evil grin.

“Yeah like you could value that.” Luke said while looking with an angry face at him.

“What´s your name kid?”

“I´m not a kid! And my name is non of your business!” Luke replied thinking better not telling this man his name, so that he knew he was a son af the Snyder family. “What do you want from him anyway?”

“Like I would tell you that kid.” Winston paused looking at a still angry looking guy. “Well I´m leaving, for now. But I will come back.”

Luke watched Winston leaving the hallway. “Hopefully not.” Luke whispered to himself.

Noah´s head was spinning while he was lying in his bed, with his headphones on. He was not really listen to the music because all the thoughts were driving him crazy.

Why the hell did my father did that to my mom? I have to stop calling him father. He is not my father, he never was and he never will be. He gave me life, that´s all.
I can´t believe mom stayed all the years with him, just because of me.
Is that my fault?
Should I have told her that I don´t want him in my life?
I asked her hundred times why he doesn´t love me. For God´s sake I was a kid!
And now I left her alone in her apartment. What kind of a son am I?
She wanted me to leave. She said it is okay.
But I´m not.

Noah sat himself upright in his bed and leaned his head against the wall behind him.

Why the hell must this happen? Why is he back?
I didn´t believe him when he said he wanted to see me again and that I am his son. He never said something like that before.
There must be another reason.

But I´m glad that mom reacted so positive because of Luke. I didn´t expect that.
Luke.
God, of all the people I sent him away.
I´m such an big jerk.
I can´t loose him. I need him. I love him.

Noah threw his headphones on the desk and got out of his bed. I have to find him. He opened the door and by the time he wanted to walk out he almost fell over Luke, which was sitting in front of the door.

“Luke!”

“Noah! I´m so sorry!” Luke said while getting up from the floor.

“No, Luke. I am sorry! I shouldn´t have sent you away.” Tears began to fall from Noah´s cheeks.

Luke pulled Noah into a embracement and pushed him carefully back into Noah´s room and closed the door behind them. “Shhh. It´s okay. I´m here.”

Noah looked deep into Luke´s eyes. “I can´t believe you waited for me in front of the door. I´m so so sorry Luke. I need you.”

Luke smiled at Noah. “You won´t get rid of me that easily, Noah.”

“Lucky me.” Noah placed a sweet kiss on Luke´s lips.

Luke grabbed Noah´s hand and lead him to the bed and laid down on it. “Come here.”

Noah laid down next to Luke, resting one leg between Luke´s and his head on his chest. Luke knew that Noah needed his time before he could talk about what had happend, so Luke just wrapped his arms around Noah and give him a peck on his hair.

After a while Noah lifted his head an looked at Luke. “How are you doing that always?”

Luke gave him a confused look. “What?”

“Making me smile again and feeling better without saying anything, just holding me.”

Luke gave him a kiss on his forehead. “I found out you need that.” For almost a minute they just looked into each others eyes. “I had a little talk to your dad, after you kicked me out of the room.”

“What? Did he do anything?”

“No. I´m fine. I told him to leave because you don´t want him here. He said it looks like you don´t want me here either and then he wanted me to tell him my name. But I didn´t tell him and than he left, but before that he said he want to come back.”

“Luke. You know I want you here.”

“Don´t worry about that baby. I already told you, you won´t get rid of me.” Luke replied while running his fingers though Noah´s hair.

Noah let out a sigh. “What the hell does he want from me?”

“I bet that you don´t believe him?”

“No. I don´t. There must be a reason why he is back.” Noah sighed again. “The day started so good. I didn´t expect my mom´s reaction.”

“Neither did I. Your mom is great, she is such a very kind person.”

“Yeah, she is ...” Noah got lost in his thoughts again.

Luke grabbed Noah´s face in his hands “Hey, Noah. Are you okay? Do you wanna talk about your conversation?”

“Well she told me that the first years with my dad were great. They were a couple since highschool. But after he learned that his parents died he changed. He started to cheat on my mom.” Noah was trying to hold his tears back.

“Oh Noah, I´m so sorry about that.”

Tears were running down from Noah´s cheeks now. “I feel like it is all my fault.” His body began to shake all over.

“Your fault? What do you mean babe?” Luke asked getting worried.

“She said she just stayed with him because of me. Because she wanted me to have a father in my life. Maybe I should have told her that I don´t want him to stay.” Noah said with a shakily voice.

“You were just a kid Noah. You didn´t know what was right. And I´m pretty sure your mom didn´t tell you about it because she thinks it is your fault.” Luke began to brush Noah´s tears away.

After a while of silence Noah said “No. She said that she is sorry and that she made the wrong decision.”

“That your father is who he is or how he is, is not your fault and not your mom´s. He is the bad person.”

“Thank you Luke. For everything.”

Luke snuggled Noah closer to him and again they were just lying there in silence feeling each others warmth and closeness.

After almost an hour Luke pushed Noah carefully away and got up from the bed. “Can I leave you alone? I have to go home for dinner. But you can call me every time if you need me.”

Noah wrapped his arms around his boyfriends waist and pulled him onto his lap. “If you have to go. But I will miss you very very much.”

Luke and Noah´s face were so close their lips were almost touching. “Why don´t you come with me then?”

“Yeah of course.” Noah rolled his eyes at his boyfriend.

”I´m serious Noah. I´m sick of all the hiding. I know it won´t be so easy like with your mom, but it´s not getting easier as longer as we are waiting.”

Noah thought about it for a few moments. “I would love the meet your parents, but ... I don´t know.”

“Why are you so scared?”

“Because it is important. You are im important. I´m afraid that you don´t want to be with be anymore, when you know what my father, you know I´m pretty sure it was him, did.”

I love you. “What ever it is Noah, remember that I love you. Nothing is going to change that.”

Noah let out a sigh and grinned. “I love you, too.”

“So you´re coming with me?”

“Yes. I´m coming with you.” Noah gave Luke an intense kiss before they both got up from the bed.

They didn´t talk much during the ride to the farm, both of them were too nervous.

Noah´s heart was beating faster with every minute they came closer to the farm. I hope they like me. Please, let them like me. He also was scared that today could be the day they would find about their past.

Luke was hoping that his parents didn´t freak out. He had told them that he has a boyfriend and sometimes they had complained that they seeing Luke to rarely, but he never told Noah about it. Luke didn´t want him to feel bad and he loves spending time with him. Besides that Noah would be more nervous right now if he know about it.

When they arrived at the farm both get out of the car, Luke walked around to the passenger side towards Noah and grabbed his hand. “Whatever betide, we are going through this together baby.” Luke whispered into Noah´s ear while giving him a hug.

Noah pulled away to look him in the eyes. “Why are you always so strong Luke? I´m feeling so weak beside you.”

“You make me strong. And you are not weak, you´re here with me now.” Luke placed a kiss on Noah´s forehead. “Come on, let´s go in.”

They walked into the kitchen of the farm were Lily and Holden were sitting at the table.

“Mom, Dad I want to introduce you to somebody.” Luke said with a nervous voice.

Lily and Holden got up and went towards the guys, they saw them holding hands and they recognized that this must be Luke´s boyfriend. “I guess this must be the young man you can´t stop talking about.” Lily replied.

Luke and Noah glanced at each other. “Yeah. This is my boyfriend ....”

“Nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Snyder. I´m Noah. Noah Mayer.” Noah reached his hand out.

The look in Lily´s face changed suddenly, it got shocked and unhappy. “Are you kidding me Luke? HE is your boyfriend? Didn´t you listen to us all the years?”
Holden stroked her shoulders carefully.

“Of course I did. It´s not like I planned this, it just happend!”

“So you didn´t know him already when you came here to ask me about the past?” Holden asked.

“We just met back then.” Luke paused. “Why can´t you give him a chance?”

“Luke. It´s okay, I should just go ...” Noah said with tears in his eyes.

“No Noah! Your mom was so kind and good to me...”

“You met Charlene?” Lily interrupted.

Noah couldn´t bear it any longer to be there, he turned around, ran out of the farm and gasp for air.

“Thank you!” Luke yelled while he heard that the car was getting started. “Yes, I met Charlene, she is a very kind person. I don´t know what was going on in the past, but we don´t want to hide anymore, because we know, we didn´t do anything wrong! And I love Noah!” Luke started walking towards the door.

“Luke! Where are you going!?” Holden yelled.

Luke turned around “I´m staying with Noah tonight. Did you know that his father is back in Oakdale, after Noah and his mom haven´t seen him since Noah was eight?” Luke said, because he wanted to see the reaction of his parents. Lily and Holden just stood there, not sure what to say. I guess you didn´t know. “Noah needs me now!” Luke said before running out of the farm.
