9:30 in the morning. Luke and Noah felt as though they had just gotten to sleep a few minutes ago. They were exhausted...but not for their usual reasons. Noah had been working on another big project at work, that had just been finished, while Luke was busy looking for a job and a pre-school for their son. Camden. Their little boy; that cute innocent face with a smile like a jack-o-lantern. Their sweet child...who was now breathing morning breath into Noah's face, and shaking him profusely.

"Daddy! Daddy,lookit! Are you still sweeping, Daddy?" Just then Noah felt the four year old's small fingers try to pry open his eyelids, then quickly grabbed the boy into his arms. A burst of laughter and giggles sprang from the body Noah held hostage; tickling and blowing raspberries all over his stomach. He sat up with Camden still sitting on his legs and straightened out his 'Go Diego Go' pajamas, then kissed him on the forehead. "Good-morning, buddy. What's that in your hand?" The little boy smiled proudly as he uncurled his fingers, and revealed a small tooth. "Lookit, Daddy. See? Do you see it, Daddy? Noah took the small white object and examined it,"I see, buddy. That's great!" He hugged the small child and kissed him again.

"See what?" Luke asked, finally realizing it was morning and yawning loudly. Noah regarded his still groggy husband with a kiss, to which Camden just giggled and proceeded to show his daddy his tooth. "Wow, Cammy! It came out! You're such a big boy." He grabbed him off Noah's lap and squeezed him tight. "Hey,daddy! I can't bweath!" The Snyder's just laughed as they got out of bed and headed toward the kitchen for breakfast.
They all sat down with their eggs, toast, and orange juice a few minutes later. Noah was reading the paper listening to Luke try and win a battle they had been fighting with their son for about two weeks. He didn't understand why Luke felt the need to keep bringing up the, apparently sensitive, subject.
"She's a very nice lady, Cammy. Your Daddy and I have met her, and she can't wait to see you." "Oh yes she can!" Luke almost chocked on his gulp of juice at the sharp remark, but played it off,"Well, you don't have to see her, but she loves children very much and is sad when they're afraid of her." "Tell her I gots two daddies that love me, and girrs have coodies!" Camden jumped from his seat and ran to the other side of the table; unseen by the outstretched newspaper. Noah put it down and patted his head, while giving Luke a look across the table. "What? All kids have to go through it, eventually." Luke got up and started to clear the dishes. "Yea, but Luke, he's only four. If he's scared, then we shouldn't force it." Luke came over and kissed Noah on the cheek,"I guess you're right. I'd be pretty freaked out if some lady barged into my house, too." Both men looked at each other and smiled, then kissed on the lips. "Daddy and daddy, sitting in a twee! K-I-S-I-I-and-G!" Luke and Noah laughed as they chased their son to his jungle themed room and had an encore of tickling and raspberries to bare skin.

The phone rang around three in the afternoon, just as Luke had put Camden down for his nap. "Hello?"
"Hey, honey. How are all my men?" Lily asked into the phone with a huge smile on her face.
"We're all fine, mom. Just got Camden to sleep. Me and Noah are finishing up some packing, now." Luke listened to his mother talk about how well they were doing as parents, as he debated between the two swim trunks laying on the bed. He just grunted into the receiver every now and then to let her know he was still listening, but fell back into his lover's embrace smiling. Luke pointed to each suit and whirled around quick, hitting Noah's chest playfully; realizing what the other man meant by saying no to both choices. Noah just shrugged and pulled Luke into a wet kiss.
"Luke? You still there?" Lily asked after hearing the muffled sound of the smack and heavy breathing. "Yea...mom. We're just...packing." "Right. Well just called to ask when you were bringing him over in the morning..." "Seven o'clock, mom. Okay bye!" Before she could answer, she heard the dial tone on the other end and chuckled to herself. Holden came over to her,"What was that about?" "Oh. Nothing..." He pulled her into him closer,"Don't tell me, they couldn't even wait until they got to the island?" Lily just pecked him on the lips lightly,"They're twenty-six. Let them have their fun!" "They're going to have plenty of it, on this trip we're paying for."

Later that night after dinner, Luke and Noah got Camden ready for bed, and sat down to read him his bedtime story. Soon after the third time reading 'Cinderella', Luke and Noah were able to convince him that it was time for bed. They had just tucked him in when he sat up and asked Noah something. "Daddy? How come you didn't fall in love with a princess?" He continued to stare as his daddies made glances toward each other. "Well..." Noah started, but Luke cut him off. "Because he fell in love with the coachmen first." Camden thought about this for a moment then laughed,"You're not a horse dwiver, daddy! That's silly." Luke just smiled as he leaned down to kiss him goodnight. Noah did the same, while handing him his stuffed leopard,Leo. "Do you want to put your tooth under your pillow, Cammy?" Luke asked one last time, but was shot down by an almost shouting 'No'. "I wanna show gramma and grampa, tomarwow." Noah stopped Luke from saying anything else as he took his hand and led him out of the room. "Thank you." "He'll do it when he's ready. Just give him time." Noah kissed his husband as they laid in each other's arms in bed. Luke snuggled closer to his warm chest,"I know. I just didn't think he would be afraid of...the Tooth Fairy! I wasn't..." "But he is, so get over it!" They looked into each other's eyes and said," I love you", then went to sleep with dreams of being together on a warm, sunny, beach the next day.
