(Note Luke being emotional at the end of the chapter is because of everything that happened is getting to him and making him sad he feels bad and everything.)

After classes finished Luke hurried to find Noah he had to tell him the truth he felt horrible about lying to him, Luke went outside and Noah was there getting ready to leave.
“Noah Wait!”
Noah turned around and saw Luke coming over to him.
“What is it Luke?”
“We have to talk about earlier”
“Okay, get in we’ll drive to the farm and we can talk there.” Luke nodded and got into Noah’s truck, Noah started to drive to the farm a few minutes later they got there and they both went inside Noah looked at Luke.
“So what did you have to say? Luke took a deep breath and started talking.
“Noah what you saw earlier and what you thought it was true, I feel horrible about lying to you I had to tell you.”
“Luke do you know how serious this is? You could get in a lot of trouble if this ever gets out.” Luke looked down he felt so bad
“I know it was wrong but I can’t let Kevin win.”
“Why is it so important to win this guy?”
“I don’t know but I get so upset when he’s around I guess I’m still not completely over how he made me feel in high school.”
Noah wasn’t sure what he was talking about. “How did he make you feel?”
Luke sat down and started talking. “When he found out I was gay he made me feel so bad the things he said the way he acted he made me feel as if it was wrong what I was feeling and having him here just brings back all those bad memories and I hate it.” Luke was starting to have tears in his eyes.
“I just don’t want to go back to how I felt back then.”
Noah got up and went to hug Luke.
“Luke you are so much stronger and a much better person then him, you can’t let that jerk get to you.”
Luke let out a quiet sigh and put his head on Noah’s shoulder and almost in a whisper he replied to Noah.
“I know I’m sorry.”
Noah kissed Luke on the head and kept holding him in his arms until Luke had completely calmed down.
“Luke we have to tell everyone at OU the truth you’re a person way to honest to cheat.”
“Yeah I guess your right.” Luke gave Noah one final hug
“Well I’m going to lay down for a while I’m tired”
“Okay if you need anything let me know.” Luke gave him a small smile
“I will, thanks Noah it means a lot that you are staying by my side even after this whole mess.”
After that Luke left and went to his room to lay down for a while.

Luke got up at 6:00pm he had to get ready for the announcement of the winner, while he was getting dressed he remembered what Noah had told him about telling everyone what he had done he was right. It was going to be tough but with Noah there with him he was ready for anything. Once Luke was all dressed he went downstairs Noah was there waiting for him.
“Ready to go?”
Luke looked at him a bit nervous “Yeah, lets get this over with.”
Luke and Noah headed over to Al’s for the announcement of the winner when they went inside everyone was there Luke was getting more and more nervous, he had to tell the truth it was the right thing to do but he was so scared. Luke went to see the guy that was announcing the winner and he told him everything about him cheating he looked at Luke for a bit and told him.
“I’m sorry but you are eliminated from the elections cheating is not tolerated.” Luke looked down very disappointed
“I understand.” Luke ran out of Al’s he was so upset he felt so ashamed about what he did he was sure everyone would be mad at him for what he did . Luke started shaking it was freezing outside but he couldn’t go back in there, he bent down and let the tears fall he thoughthought to himself
“maybe this was a bad idea after all everything is such a mess ever since I entered.”
He got up from where he was sitting and whipped away his tears when he looked up he saw Noah running to him. Luke went to him and Noah took him in his arms.
“You did the right thing Luke.”
“I know.”
“Do you want to go home?”
“Yeah”
“Okay, come on lets go.”
They held hands and walked to Al’s to get Noah’s truck and they headed to the farm it was as quiet as ever on the drive over to the farm.
