Luke came out of his class and walked to meet Noah and Ameera at Noah's truck.Noah came up to him and mouthed the words I am sorry.Luke smiled slightly and nodded.Ameera slid in next to Noah and Luke followed, thinking that this all had to get better eventually.

After they arrived at the farm, Ameera excused herself to go take a nap.Luke and Noah were sitting in the parlor, side by side, not saying anything.Luke looked at Noah and sighed.Noah's face was full of confusion and hurt.Luke put his hand on Noah's knee." Noah, what was that today? You seem to be really acting like you care for Ameera, " Luke said.Noah put his hand on Luke's and met his eyes."I do care for her Luke, but not in any romantic type of way.Like a brotherly kind of caring.I am just so scared that this is all going to blow up in our faces and we will all go to prison.Then I would have hurt you for no reason," Noah said taking a shaky breath.

Luke knew that Noah was really hurting and it teared him apart.He pulled Noah close to him and said, "We will all be fine.Just stick to the plans and we will get through this together.You are not hurting me.WE are helping Ameera." Noah looked at Luke and kissed him softly." You always know what to say to make me feel better Luke.That's why I love you so much, " Noah said.Luke kissed him again, deeper this time, letting his tounge linger in Noah's mouth.

When their lips parted, Luke looked at Noah and said, " Like I said we have to just do what we are doing, you have to stop freaking out, and we need to all stick together." Noah looked at Luke and smiled."And? " Noah said teasingly.Luke caught on and pulled Noah close so he could whisper in his ear." I love you too Noah."

Noah smiled at Luke. "...and I love you. I'm really sorry about freaking, but I can't guarantee that it won't happen again. I'm sure it must get to you, what can I do to make this easier for you."

Luke shook his head. "I don't think that you can. If only Ameera had some other friends."

Noah nodded. "I guess, but she doesn't know anyone."

Luke looked at Noah. " She knows Casey."

Noah shook his head. " No way. Casey is a guy. It would look funny her hanging around with him."

Luke shrugged. " No funnier than you hanging around with me."

Noah looked at Luke. "I guess your right. She did seem to like him."

Luke nodded. "I think he liked her too."

Noah got up. "That's too bad."

Luke got up and walked behind Noah. " Why is that too bad? I think it's nice."

Noah turned and looked at Luke. " Luke if they really liked each other, they would be in the same situation that we are."

Luke nodded as he realized what Noah was saying. "I didn't think about that."

Noah put his arms around Noah's waist. " Too bad Ameera's Visa had already expired. Maybe she and Casey could have something given enough time."

Luke kissed Noah. "Maybe they still can."

Holden called from the kitchen. "Noah and Ameera. The agent from the INS is here."

Noah and Luke looked at each other. Noah let out a heavy sigh. "Well here we go."

Noah and Luke got up from the sofa and went into the kitchen, just as they entered Ameera entered from upstairs. The man from the INS was tall, well-built and wore a pair of dark glasses. He introduced himself as Officer Johnson and he told Noah and Ameera that he would be acting as their case worker.

Noah and Ameera shook hands with the officer and then the three of them sat down at the kitchen table, along with Luke and Holden. The case worker started asking a number of questions, all of which Noah and Ameera were prepared for. He asked them how they met, how they fell in love, what made them decide to get married. All of these questions made everyone feel awkward, seeing as they were all lying to a man who could have them all arrested, but they knew they were doing the right thing.

Noah and Ameera were holding hands throughout the interview with the officer, to make things look real and to stop each other from shaking with nerves. After an hour of intense questioning the officer packed his papers back into his briefcase and then he rose to his feet. As he did so he turned to Noah and Ameera and said,

“Ok, I’ll be back in a few weeks to check up on you,” with that he left the farm.

Noah turned to Luke and said, “I know that must have been difficult Luke, but remember its you I love”
