Noah saw Luke sitting on the porch alone and desolate. When he got close to him, he saw that his beautiful eyes were red from crying, his adorable face was stained with tears, and the lower lip of his perfect mouth was trembling.

"Luke, what's the matter," Noah asked trying to put his arm around him. Luke just shook his head, "Noah, we can't do this anymore. You chose her; your life is with her now." Noah repeated all of his earlier arguments and insisted that marriage would change nothing between them before asking, "If you are this upset, why did you go along with it?" "Noah, I love you so much. I tried to go along with it, but I cannot. If you and she are married, you will be with her; you will live with her; there will be no time for me, no time for us. You say you don't love her, but she loves you. I can see how she looks at you, and how jealous she is of us. She will never let us be together."

Noah protested. "We will work it out; she will understand it's in name only." Luke interrupted. "Noah, marriage is marriage, you are marrying her. You will belong to her now. You know how important it is for me to be honest about who I am. I can never be some married man's little gay boy on the side. Our love can't be just some sordid, adulterous affair. How could you choose her over me; maybe you never really loved me?"

Noah attempted to comfort Luke, but Luke would not be comforted. "Noah, your father has won. He couldn't break us up on his own, but your memories of him and Ameera have done it. I never thought that you would betray me like this." Saying this, the heartbroken Luke began to cry uncontrollably, his whole body racked with sobs. Noah took him in his arms, "Luke, I love you. I see now that I cannot marry her; my first duty, my only duty is to the boy who loves me." Noah held him tightly kissing him passionately.

At that moment, Ameera who was always lurking on the sidelines came onto the porch and angrily asked what was going on. Noah said, "I am kissing my boyfriend. I cannot marry you; I belong to Luke and my first duty, my only duty is to him alone." Ameera was furious, "Why are you throwing your life away on that deviant boy, that piece of trash?" Luke and Noah thunderstruck remembered Colonel Mayer saying these very words the last time they saw him. Noah furiously demanded to know if she was in contact with his father. At that moment, three homeland security agents pulled up and approached Ameera with guns drawn."You are under arrest for being in daily contact with Winston Mayer, a convicted felon, and conspiring with him to murder Luke Snyder." Noah screamed and fell into Luke's arms.

Noah woke Luke up and Luke jumped. "Are you okay?"

Luke rubbed his eyes. "I'm fine. I just had a bad dream."

Noah put his arm around Luke. "Now it's your turn. Tell me about it."

Luke didn't really want to. "It was nothing. This is going to be so hard."

Noah held Luke tight. "I know, but we will make it through this together."

Luke looked at Noah and then got up. "Come with me. I need to talk to my parents."

Lily and Holden were sitting at the table. Luke walked up, Noah behind him. "Mom and Dad, I know what Grandma said, but I was wondering if Noah could sleep in my room tonight. I promise, nothing will happen, we just need to be close to each other."

Lilly looked at her husband. She knew how her son felt. "We understand what your going through. I think that it will be okay. We'll talk to your Grandma."

Luke and Noah went to Luke's room. They both got ready for bed. Noah looked at Luke he was so beautiful. "I don't know if this is a good idea. You know how much I want to be with you."

Luke stepped close to Noah. "If you are going to be sharing a bed with Ameera I need tonight if I'm going to be able to handle it. I just want to feel close to you."

Noah looked it Luke's eyes. "You know that I don't feel anything for her. I just feel sorry for her. It will be like sleeping with you mother."

Luke let a slight smile cross his lips. "I don't want to think about that either."

Luke climbed on the bed and Noah laid down next to him. He pulled Luke into his arms. "I do love you Luke. So much."

Luke looked up at Noah and put his hand on his face. "Then show me."

Noah kissed Luke. Luke wrapped his arm around Noah and kissed him deeply. They kissed as if they would never see each other again. Noah could feel Luke's growing erection. He moved above him and they began to grind against each other. They both moaned. Continuing to pull each other closer, they both finally reached an orgasm. Noah rolled off of Luke. "I'm sorry . I couldn't help myself."

Luke moved in close to Noah. "There's nothing to be sorry about."

Noah pulled Luke close to him. "I love you Luke. I don't ever want you to forget that."

Luke laid his head on Noah's chest. "I love you too Noah, with everything I have."

The two men fell asleep wrapped in each others arms.

In the morning the two men awoke, still lying in each others arms. They could feel the warmth of each others bodies.

Even though the two men were together, all Luke could think about was the marriage. Sure he wanted Noah to get married, but he wanted it to be to him and not to some woman who he’s only just met. He remembered all the pain he felt when Noah was with Maddie and he couldn’t help but think that he was losing his Noah all over again.

Even though Noah had reassured him last night he was still feeling scared. Noah turned to look at Luke and he could see that something was wrong. After the last few months Noah knew when something was wrong with Luke. He asked him what was wrong, but Luke didn’t answer. He asked again, but still Luke ignored his question and turned away from him. Noah took hold of Luke and forced him to look him in the eye and asked him again what was wrong. This time Luke replied,

“I know you said everything will be the same, but Noah, I just keeping thinking about what things were like when you were with Maddie and how I felt and I just feel like everything is going to be like it was back then, with you back in the closet and always being with her.”

“Luke, it’s only until she’s a citizen, we will still be together, nothing will change that,”

Noah awoke, still facing Luke, they had both fallen asleep again, it was just a dream. But as Noah thought about what he had just promised Ameera, he wondered how long it would be before he and Luke would be able to be "together". Tears started to well in his eyes and finally ran down his cheeks. Luke woke seeing the tears in his love's eyes. He realized this was the first time he'd seen Noah cry. As he reached out and wiped the tears from his cheeks he asked, "What are you thinking Noah?"

As he tried to answer, he choked up more and began weeping harder. "Luke, I'm beginning to doubt this whole idea, I don't want to jeopardize our relationship. Though I believe we're strong enough to make it through this, I'm just not sure I want to take the chance."

Luke pulled Noah closer, "Noah, if we're going to make a go of this relationship we're going to have to trust each other. There will be other trials and obstacles that will come into our lives, but if we grow together through each one, then our love will grow and we will be much stronger with each. My parents have gone through so much and just when I thought they weren't going to make it, they're back together again. So I trust you to do the right thing by Ameera and mostly by me, I love and respect you that much! We'll work this through together, OK?"

Noah still sobbing, "Thank you Luke. You don't know how much your trust means to me. And although I haven't said it enough, I so love you and am falling more in love with you each moment."

A knock at the door. "Come in," Luke said. As the door opened, it was Ameera......

"I'm sorry, i hope im not interrumpting." Said Amerra as she timidly stood at the door.
"Give us a minute." said Luke, a bit annoyed. After a few minutes they met her outside and Ameera said she wanted to speak with Luke.
Noah left them alone.
"What do you need?" asked Luke
"I think we should talk about what happen and wats going to happen."
"I know whats going to happen, I dont need to be reminded." said Luke
"I know this cant be easy for you, I know that it must bother you, but if this is what Noah wants to do, you should support him."
"You don' t need to tell me that, I love Noah and I'll support him, even though its not so simply for me."
"We'll im glad your ok with this, it'll make this a lot simpler." said Ameera, and Luke realized that there was something different about him.
"I know that Noah loves me and I trust him completly. He's doing this to help you, but after that things we'll get better for us."
"You sound very sure about that, you don't think there's a chance that this might change Noah?" Ameera asked Luke
"What do you mean change?, no matter what Noah loves me and that cant changed so easily. You seem to be prepared for this, you agreed quite rapidly? Why is that? Is it just because you want to stay in the U.S, or is there somethin else Ameera?"
"What do you want to know Luke? If I have feelings for Noah? We'll yes Luke I do have feelings for him."
