When you sit down to watch As the World Turns and are looking to see Luke and Noah, does it sometimes seem as if you’re looking for two needles in a huge haystack? While it’s not always true, in this case, perception IS reality!

Ever since Luke & Noah first started appearing together on the show over a year ago, their airtime has been rather poor. Luke & Noah are one of the most popular, if not THE most popular couple on the show, yet the show has reduced them to one episode a week. What type of story can be told only a few minutes a week? Can a few minutes a week do a story justice? How can you develop characters like that?

In June and April, Luke and Noah were on for 7 episodes ONLY! 7 EPISODES for a couple so popular that it has brought As The World Turns worldwide media attention! This is how the show chooses to feature a couple, which was the only couple on the show to present at the 2008 Emmy Awards? This is how the show chooses to feature a couple in which Van Hansis, a two-time Emmy nominee, is part of? This is how the show chooses to feature an important issue that means so much to so many fans?

This is unacceptable, and has to change NOW and Luke&Noah fans have the power to make it happen!

Luke & Noah fans have decided to take action and demand more airtime and story for Nuke.

We are in the process of creating a 'scrapbook' for TPTB. In the scrapbook, we will make our case for why Luke and Noah deserve more air time. To help us build the scrapbook, please write a short note explaining why you are a Nuke fan and why they deserve more air time and email your note to more_nuke@yahoo.com. We will add your notes to the scrap book. In addition to writing your own note, please ask all your friends on the board to write a note too. Please email your note by ......

In addition to the scrapbook, we also have a telephone campaign to contact TPTB and ask them to give Luke and Noah more air time. Please go to http://forums.vanhansis.net/index.php?showtopic=11464&hl= and signup to be part of the telephone campaign. We need every person on the board to sign up.


Also, on July 21, we will start a postcard campaign to ask TPTB to give Luke and Noah more air time. We'll give you more information about that next week.

Luke & Noah fans- please, don’t let others do this job for you. If you’re unhappy about this couple’s screentime, then this is your change to DO something about it. Call in next week, get your emails ready, and get ready to send out some postcards!

Remember, there is strength in numbers, and that’s one thing we have on our side – our numbers!
