| L1 Van Hansis makes his debut as 15 year old Luke Snyder. Luke's parents meet in secret because his mother, Lily, has pledged to marry Keith Morrissey, the man who found a kidney for Luke. Realizing something isn't right in Keith and Lily's relation-ship,relationship, Luke is rude to Keith and talks to his father, Holden, about his distaste for Keith. | |
| L2 Luke undergoes some medical tests to ensure all is well with his new kidney. He tells Holden to ask Lily about spending Christmas with her family and later seeks to make her feel guilty for even considering not being there. Keith is not happy about Lily's intentions of spending Christmas at Snyder Farm. | |
| L3 Luke overhears Keith pressuring Lily to spend more time with him on Christmas, as they vaguely discuss the deal they've made. Luke goes to ask his grandmother Lucinda if the deal relates to his new kidney. Lucinda assures Luke his kidney was acquired legally. Keith continues to remind Lily that Luke is only alive because of him. | |
| L4 A frustrated Luke swills alcoholic eggnog with his friend Kevin, while back at Snyder Farm Luke's grandmothers, Emma and Lucinda share their hopes that Lily and Holden will come to their senses and reunite. Family friend Dusty (dressed as Santa) and Luke's Aunt Meg interrupt, followed closely by Lily, and then Keith--whose arrival chills the mood. | |
| L5 Kevin asks a drunken Luke if he should be drinking so much given that he had almost died. Luke responds that maybe it would have been better if he had. Holden confronts Lily in the barn, and the two kiss. Luke sees them, and later, when confronted by Keith, tells Keith to check out the barn. | |
| L6 Lily continues to tell Holden she has to marry Keith and Keith interrupts. Luke confronts Holden, saying he knows Holden and Lily still love each other, and he knows there's a deal between Lily and Keith. When Lily leaves with Keith and Holden doesn't stop her, an infuriated Luke runs upstairs. | |
| L7 Luke confronts Lily at her house. When he discovers that she's planning to move away with Keith, he tells her she will no longer be his mother if she goes through with it. After Luke runs off, Lily goes to the farm, talks to Holden. Luke confronts Keith with a knife and tells him to take his kidney back. |
