At Al's Diner, Luke talks to Lucinda about it's been for him at school now that he's out. He tells her that his essay is one of the finalists for the Develbus prize. Lucinda is very proud.

Margo, Casey and Will compare the emails they got from Adam. When Jade and Luke arrive, Jade declares it makes no sense that Adam didn't write to her. Luke tells Jade to accept the fact that Adam didn't care about her, but she lashes out. Jade apologizes for striking out at Luke, but vows to get back at Gwen and Maddie for humiliating her.

Luke tells Holden hes not going on the class trip to Florida for spring break. Luke finally admits that the trip is a hook-up scene and he doesnt have anyone.

Brad finds out that the teacher didn't give Luke the prize because Luke was gay. He throws the teacher up against the wall, and the security guard warns he's going to call the police.

Upon hearing the details about what's been going on at home, Jade wants to concentrate on her family. Luke senses, accurately, that Jade isn't ready to let her animosity against Maddie, Gwen and Will go. Later, Barbara corners Jade and tells her that if she utters a word about Adam, she will kill her.
