| 266 February 12, 2009 Margo questions Elwood about Reg and the party. He denies everything. Margo and a cop search him, but come up with nothing. Tom informs Margo that Casey slept with Jade. Luke and Noah tell Casey and Jade that Margo found nothing on Elwood. Jade and Casey agree to pick things back up between them. Alison is surprised by a picnic that Matt made for her. | |
| 267 February 19, 2009 Kevin, Luke, and Noah leave Reg's memorial together. Luke and Noah go into Java, and Elwood is there. Luke confronts Elwood again about killing Reg. Lily and Jade shop for dresses. Jade tells Lily that she's seeing Casey. Kevin and Noah pull Luke away from Elwood. Kevin asks if they really think Elwood is guilty. Kevin offers to keep an eye on Elwood for them. Luke tells Noah that he doesn't trust Kevin. Luke thinks they should break into Elwood's dorm room. Margo and Casey are at lunch. She questions him about Elwood, then Matt and Alison come in. Matt and Ali sit down to eat. Margo asks Casey about Alison. Casey and Ali both act uncomfortable with the other in the room, so Matt and Ali leave the diner. At Fashions, Jade makes Emily pay for her dress. Back at Java, Noah doesn't want to break into Elwood's room, but when Noah leaves for class, Luke decides to go anyway. Ali admits to Matt that she's uncomfortable around Casey. | |
| 268 February 19, 2009 Alison tells Matt that she wants his help to forget about Casey. Luke goes to Elwood's dorm room and breaks in. He begins snooping through Elwood's things. He finds a note from "M". Elwood and Kevin show up with campus security and Luke is taken to the police station. Margo continues to ask Casey questions about the night Reg died. Lily wants to know what was going with Jade and Emily. Lily warns Jade to watch out for Emily. Matt drops Ali off at work. Emily arrives soon after and asks Ali to forgive her. Ali tells her that she's done with Casey after she saw him having sex with Jade. Noah shows up at the police station to bail Luke out. Margo warns Luke that breaking and entering is a felony. Margo leaves to call Luke's mom. Luke asks Noah to take the note he found in Elwood's room and figure out who "M" is. Noah wants to turn the note over to the police, but Luke thinks they should see if it means something first. Lily arrives at the station and is very angry. | |
| 269 February 19, 2009 Alison and Emily talk about Casey and Jade sleeping together. Noah leaves Luke at the station while Lily bails Luke out. Luke tries to justify why he broke into Elwood's dorm room. Emily arrives at Lily's house to confront Jade for sleeping with Casey. Casey walks in just as Emily gives Jade money. Jade covers up the real reason Emily paid her. Emily leaves and Casey calls off his date with Jade. Lily tries to get Luke a deal, but Margo can't help unless Elwood drops the charges. Elwood says he'll drop the charges if Luke apologizes, but Luke refuses. Noah goes to the hospital looking for Casey. He asks Casey to help him find out who "M" is. Luke continues to be stubborn until Noah arrives and convinces Luke to apologize. | |
| 270 February 19, 2009 Casey finds Matt in a restricted room at the hospital. Matt says he's looking for Alison. When Matt and Ali leave, Casey looks at the note Noah gave him and thinks "M" may stand for Matt. At Java, Luke says that Elwood didn't press charges because he has something to hide. Kevin enters explains that he didn't mean to turn Luke into campus security, and offers Luke and Noah any help they need. Lily returns home and she and Jade discuss Luke being arrested and Casey. Jade leaves to go look for Casey. Noah continues to beg Luke to let the police handle things. Jade finds Casey at work and tries to seduce him, but he resists and leaves. Casey walks in on Matt and Alison kissing on their date at Yo's. | |
| 271 February 23, 2009 Holden returns and, at the hospital, Lily informs him about what's happened with Luke. Luke pretends to be Elwood's probation officer to try and get information. Noah continues to try to get Luke let the cops handle the situation. Casey sees Alison at Al's while she's waiting for Matt, who enters out of breath. Jade tries to call Casey, and then runs into Derek. Casey questions Matt for being out of breath and Alison gets angry with Casey. Matt and Ali decide that Casey is trying dig up dirt on Matt to scare Ali away. Jade and Derek argue and Old Town, then Jade bumps into Casey, but he quickly leaves. Lily fills in Holden with all the details of what's been happening with Luke. Noah wants Luke to concentrate on something constructive. | |
| 272 February 23, 2009 Luke promises to work on something more positive with the foundation. Casey shows up and tells Luke and Noah that he thinks "M" is Matt. He explains Matt's recent suspicious behaviour. Casey comes up with the idea for a fake drug deal. Back in Old Town, Derek continues to lecture Jade. She receives a call from Casey and he asks her to come to Luke's house. Holden and Lily continue to ponder why Luke is behaving the way he is. Luke and Casey ask Jade to pretend to by drugs off Matt. Noah and Jade believe Casey just wants to get back at Matt. Lily and Holden arrive home and Holden asks if things are under control, Noah tells them that they aren't. Jade tries chatting up Matt, and then asks him for something stronger. Casey goes to the hospital tells Alison of their theory about Matt. | |
