Parts 29 - 35
| L29 After a sleepless night, Lily and Holden discuss whether Jade could really be who she claims she is. Lily send Jade and Luke out to have breakfast while she calls the orphanage Jade claims to have come from. Luke and Jade talk about the problems he's having with his parents, and Jade says that she understands he might not be what his parents wanted. Meanwhile, the nun at the orphanage makes a comment that she "knew it was a mistake" after getting Lily's call about Jade. | |
| L30 Luke wants to know what Jade meant when she said he didn't turn out the way his parents wanted. She explains that she also sometimes felt distant from her adoptive parents, which is why she had sought out Rose in the first place. Luke admits that things were tougher for his family with Rose gone. Meanwhile, Lily gets information from the orphanage that seems to confirm that Jade is Rose's daughter, allowing her to finally open up to Jade when she and Luke return from breakfast. | |
| L31 Lucinda meets Jade and tries to convince Holden and Lily to be careful before they open themselves up to her too much. Jade and Luke talk more about Rose. | |
| L32 Lucinda cautions Holden to get a DNA test before Jade gets too close to his family. Jade asks Lily if she's pregnant. | |
| L33 After Jade's prodding, Lily discovers she's pregnant. She shares the news with Holden, and the two of them discuss what it means for their family. They're thrilled with the news, but Holden is still insistent that Jade get a blood test. Lily says she'll think about it. | |
| L34 Lucinda finds out about Lily's pregnancy, and is thrilled, but continues to press Jade for details about her past. Lucinda's questioning is interrupted when a package arrives for Jade which contains a letter from her late mother, Rose. | |
| L35 Lily is convinced the letter is real and shores up her belief that Jade is telling the truth. Lucinda is decidedly more skeptical, and Holden is leaning towards her side. However, after Lucinda leaves, Lily convinces Holden to drop the idea that Jade could be a fraud...at least for now. |
