Holden and Luke continue to talk. The Col. gives his seal of approval on the relationship and Henry.

Noah sees Luke with another guy and is jealous. The Col. admits to doing a background check on Maddie and knows about Eve. Luke calls Noah out on his jealousy.

September 6, 2007


Maddie and Henry talk about the physicality of any relationship and questions why Noah's father is so strict. Henry calls the Col. into the diner to voice his concerns about the relationship between Noah and Maddie. Luke says to Noah that he should move on from him.

September 6, 2007


Luke tells Noah that he doesn't want to ever see him again after the internship is over. The Col. alludes to Noah hanging out with the 'wrong' crowd.

September 10, 2007


Henry picks up on the Col's homophobia after Luke walks in. Henry and Noah meet for the first time. Henry offers to pay for Maddie's tuition at Wesleyan.

September 10, 2007


Henry tells Maddie that the Col thinks there is something going on between Luke & Noah. Maddie thinks that it is ridiculous. Maddie asks Luke if this is true.

September 14, 2007


Maddie avoids Noah. Noah and Lily meet for the first time. Noah blasts Luke for meddling in his life. Maddie is upset that she was being used. Noah admits that he has feelings for Luke.

the writers are constantly surprising me. another great episode. They are somehow managing to advance the storyline but keep the same level of tension. Impressive!

Luke said, "Going on?".
If you were in Luke's place would you have been saying the question or at least part of the question, as Luke did, to yourself to try to make sure that you heard Maddie correctly?
I have been in this type of situation in the past... It was very uncomfortable... Anyway, to make a long story short... I was interested in a guy my friend was dating and after a few hits and misses we did end up together. We were together for 16 years... We've gone our separate ways now, but we're still very good friends.

What a great episode. Yeah again for the writers and actors!

I didn't think the actors or the writers could get any better but they have. One benefit that we get out of all this drama is a really good story. There are so many people out there that have struggled with this and are living a straight life even if they don't really mean it. I hope when it is Maddie's turn they treat her hurt and confusion as honestly.
