Parts 57 - 63
| L57 Lily asks Lucinda what she makes of the whole situation with Jade. Lucinda doesn't believe this thing with Jade, and demands Luke look her in the eye and say that he's in love. He tries to convince her, and leaves with Jade. Luke isn't sure it worked, and when Jade seems optimistic about their plan he tells her that it all depends on what his dad decides to do. | |
| L58 Holden believes that Jade is good for Luke. The best thing they can do about the kids is allow the relationship and then just wait for it to fade out on its own. But Lily asks Holden to back her up about evicting Jade, and he agrees. Lily and Holden tell Luke that Jade has to go. Knowing that if he doesn't go with her, Jade will tell his parents he's gay, an overwhelmed Luke faints. At the hospital, Susan informs the Snyders that Luke has a kidney infection. | |
| L59 Luke is about to make a confession to his parents, when the stress causes his heart monitor to go off. The doctors stabilize him and Lily finally caves, saying Jade can stay. Jade is celebrating her con at home, when Lucinda drops by. | |
| L60 Lucinda doesn't buy Jade's poor, little me act and tells her to get out of the house. But then Lily returns and admits that she is allowing Jade to stay - in the guesthouse. Meanwhile, Holden is with Luke, talking his son about how he first fell in love with Lily and confessing that he knows how Luke feels...about Jade. | |
| L61 Luke is barely home from the hospital before Jade is reminding him how Luke has to keep insisting that Lily let Jade stay with them. Luke agrees, but as he's sneaking back into the house after seeing Jade, he's busted by Holden. Holden goes to lay down the law to Jade. | |
| L62 Lily talks to Luke about how he feels about her and Holden having another child. Holden continues to talk to Jade about Luke. Jade relates Holden and Lily's relationship to the situation to convince Holden about her and Luke. As he's leaving, she cryptically tells Holden that sometimes in life it's better not to know too much. | |
| L63 Luke tells Holden he knows Jade is upsetting to Lily, but Luke would really like to be with the person he cares about and not have it be a big deal. When Jade hears that Holden didn't tell Lily he'd come to see Jade, she assures Luke that Holden is now on their side. |
