| 71 October 2, 2007 Dusty tells Sly to go to the Snyder farm to find Lily. Holden invites Col. Mayer and Noah to dinner. Noah and Luke talk about how accepting the Col. has become. Sly confronts Col. Mayer instead. Luke admits that he doesn't think the Col. likes him or the idea of him and Noah. | |
| 72 October 3, 2007 Maddie goes to the diner and tells Vienna and Henry she doesn't think she can get over Luke and Noah. Luke continues to think Col. Mayer doesn't like him, and Noah says to give it time. Col. Mayer confronts Sly and Holden sees. Sly says he was just looking for spare change and the Col. tries to bribe him. | |
| 73 October 3, 2007 Sly tries to get more money from Col. Mayer in order for him to keep quiet and tells the Col. that Dusty is dead, but Dusty is still struggling in the car. Col. Mayer and Noah also meet Aaron and Alison, and when they're about to have the dinner Margo shows up to talk about Dusty. | |
| 74 October 3, 2007 Maddie continues to tell Henry about her suspicions about Col. Mayer. Holden calls Lily to tell her that Dusty is missing. Dusty realizes that no one is coming, so he leaves on his own. Col. Mayer invites Luke and Noah on a fishing trip. | |

| 77 October 5, 2007 Lily begins to suspect Col. Mayer. Maddie shares her concerns with Holden. Dusty finds Lily and gives up Col. Mayer. Winston interrupts a moment between Luke and Noah. Luke goes to get firewood and Noah tells his dad he loves him. |
