Damian wonders if maybe Lily and Holden's parenting is what drove Luke to question his sexuality. Damian offers to help Lily with her problem. Lily says she'll consult with Holden, and Damian leaves. Luke apologizes for accusing his mother of having him followed, and reiterates that he doesn't think he's gay, he knows he is.

Luke tells Lily that he also knows if it came down to a choice between him being happy and being gay, what she would choose. At the Lakeview, Damian has a reunion with Lisa. After, Lily goes to Damian and says she will accept his help -- without asking Holden.

Luke knows Lily told Damian about Luke being gay. So why is Damian here - to talk Luke out of it? Damian says no. But he would like to help Luke reconcile with his mother. Damian suggests that Lily is just feeling left out. Maybe if Luke opened up his heart and explained how exactly he came to his decision. Later, Damian tells Lily he's won Luke's trust and they can proceed as planned. The three settle down to coffee together as Holden comes home.

Holden is stunned to see Damian breaking bread with Lily and Luke and throws the interloper out. Lily swears Damian's visit was innocent. Luke apologizes to Holden about finding Damian in the house. Luke stresses that Holden is his real father, and nothing will ever change that. But, ever since Damian arrived, Lily has been more accepting towards him.Luke admits that he never doubted his mother's love, until now. Luke also wonders, if Damian advocates for Luke with Lily, maybe Holden and Lily won't need to be at odds over him anymore.

Lucy meets up with Luke, and the cousins catch up. Lucy laments how much she once hurt Dusty. Luke asks if Lucy is still in love with Dusty.

Lucinda informs Lily and Holden that Damian isn't just in town for a short visit -- he's moved into Fairwinds! Meanwhile, Damian explains to Luke that his son is a man capable of making his own choices. Damian says he doesn't just accept Luke, he supports him, too. And he intends to stay in Oakdale until Lily feels the same way. Luke leaves and Holden shows up.

Holden accuses Damian of using Luke, while Damian retorts that Holden is ruining Luke's life. Holden takes a swing at his rival just as Luke returns. Meanwhile, Lucinda tells Lily that if she thinks Damian will help her with her Luke "problem" she's deluding herself.
