They were asleep in bed and the sun was filtering throught the curtains when the alarm clock went on. Luke stirred and smiled. He turned the alarm off. He loved waking up. Even if it was too early, even if he always wished he could sleep longer, even knowing that it was going to be a busy day and… and he still loved it. Noah’s arm was around his chest and Luke turned his face to look at him.

“Morning”

Noah didn’t move. Luke enjoyed looking at him for a little longer. He looked so cute when he was asleep… he had the face of a boy; he breathed slowly, deeply. Luke ran the tip of his fingers along his lips…

“Wake up, babe”

Nothing… Luke smiled to himself. He could see that it was going to be one of those mornings… he turned on his side so he could look at him. He couldn’t believe how happy they had been for the last months. Aaron loved Noah since the first minute he saw him, it was as if he’d known all along that he was going to be his dad. They got along really well and Noah was a perfect dad.

“It’s time to wake up, hon”

Nothing… he didn’t move an inch… Luke moved closer to him and kissed him softly

“Okay, I’ll give you five more minutes”

Luke stood up and went to the kitchen to start breakfast. 5 minutes later he went back into the bedroom and set a cup of coffee on Noah’s nightstand. He kissed his neck

“Noah? I brought coffee”

Nothing… Luke smiled. Aaron was just like Noah. Like he didn’t have enouh trying to wake up his son now he had deal with Noah as well… He went to Aaron’s room to see if it was going to be easier than with Noah.

10 minutes later Aaron was already dressed and Luke went to see Noah. Damn, he is not even moving… He got closer and decided that it was time for plan B. He moved the covers away and smiled. Noah was wearing only boxers

“Shit, babe… you are too hot to be real…”

He laid behind him and put his arms around his chest. He kissed him in the back

“Come on, Noah… wake up”

Nothing… Luke smiled to himself, good thing he is breathing…

“Daddy!!!”

Luked sighed, he’ll come back in 5 minutes to try again. He got up and followed Aaron’ voice to the kitchen. He was already sitting down and ready for breakfast.

“Where’s dad?”

“He’s asleep. Here, your cereals. Do you want some orange juice?”

“Can I go and wake him up?”

Luke smiled… Okay… plan C

“You know what? Why don’t you go and bounce on the bed? What do you think?”

Aaron laughed

“I can jump on the bed?”

“Sure, let’s see if he can sleep through that”

Aaron run into the bedroom and climbed on the bed. Noah was still asleep.

“For an insomniac it is quite amazing…”

“What is an isom… what’s that?”

“It means that he can’t sleep”

“But Dad sleeps a lot!”

“I know, sunshine. Ready?”

Aaron smiled and started jumping on the bed, Nothing… Luke couldn’t help but laugh

“Maybe we should call a doctor, what do you think?”

Aaron just laughed with him and jumped higher

“Be careful”

Noah stirred

“Ah… at last… He is alive”

Aaron didn’t stop jumping, he was really enjoying it

“Good morning, Dad!!!”

Noah opened his eyes smiling

“He is awake, daddy!”

Aaron jumped on top of Noah

“Daddy was going to call the doctor, you know?”

“Mmmh… really? Why?”

“cos you didn’t wake up”

“I’ve been trying to wake you up for half an hour”

Noah held Aaron next to him and looked at Luke

“I have never seen anything more beautiful in my life…”

“Care to join?”

Luke smiled and laid with them. He kissed Aaron’s head looking at Noah, who put his hand in Luke’s cheek

“Can we stay in bed for a little more, Daddy?”

Luke and Noah smiled looking at each other

“Sure, sunshine… we can stay for as long as you want…”
