Luke approached the farm. He and Noah should be leaving to go to Chicago for spring break, but instead he had broken Noah's heart. He looked at the door to the farm, he had one last thing to do, he still had to separate himself from his parents. He took a deep breath and opened the door. He walked into the kitchen.

His dad was having a cup of coffee and his Grandma was making a pie for the church. "Good morning everyone."

Holden got up. "Luke. I didn't expect to see you. I figured that you and Noah would hit the road early."

Luke hugged his Grandma and walked over to his dad. "Noah had a couple of things to take care of. So I thought that I would come by and say goodbye."

Holden walked over to his son. 'I'm glad that you did, but the girls had a sleepover last night."

Luke shrugged. "That's okay. Your the one I really wanted to see."

Holden noticed something odd about his son. "Is everything alright?"

Luke smiled. "Everything is fine. I wont be seeing you for a week. I think that's the longest that I've voluntarily went away."

Holden relaxed. "Okay. As long as that's all."

Emma wiped her hands. "Can I fix you something to take with you?"

Luke shook his head. "No. We will stop on the way."

Holden poured more coffee. "Did you stop by to see your mom."

Luke shook his head. "No. I called her. I know it's difficult with the two of you, but I'm going to be gone. The two of you are going to have to get along without me."

Holden smiled. "I think we can make it a week without any major catastrophes."

Luke smiled. "Good. It will be a trial run for when I'm no longer around to referee."

Holden patted Luke on the back. "Well, you probably should get going. You don't want to hit the road too late."

Luke nodded. "Yeah. Your right. I really love you dad."

Luke hugged Holden tighter then he ever had before. He was always there for him and he would hold onto that while he was locked away with Damian. "You act like your never going to see me again."

Luke smiled. "Don't be silly. I will see you soon."

Luke hugged his Grandma. "You have a good trip and have fun."

Luke nodded. "I will."

Luke walked outside. He took out his phone. "It's me. I did what you wanted. Come and pick me up."

It was almost noon. Noah laid curled up on the sofa. He had been there most of the night, when he wasn't pacing the floor. He couldn't bare being in the bed that he had shared with Luke. He could smell Luke in the furniture and all of his special touches were everywhere. They had made love in every corner of the apartment, so everything that he looked at reminded him of Luke. He had cried all night. "How could Luke have done this to me?"

Noah sat up. He wiped his face. "I can't do this. I have to get over it. He's gone. He's probably with Roth."

Noah got up and threw the pillow he was holding against the wall. He sat down on the sofa and put his head in his hands. "No. We belong together. We are fated to be together. He told me so."

Noah's emotions were all over the place. One minute he was angry enough to kill and the next he was balled up and in tears, unable to move. "Fate. How stupid of me to believe in fate. I actually thought that I could be happy. I should have known that it wouldn't last."

Noah picked up a picture of him and Luke. It was taken at the Lakeview when they went there for their anniversary. Noah held the picture close to him. Noah jumped when the phone rang. Noah looked at it. "Luke."

He picked up the phone. "Noah is that you?"

Noah frowned into the phone. "Dad."

Bruce nodded. "Yeah. Liz and I expected you to be here by now. Did you guys have some trouble."

Noah listened to his father's voice and couldn't hold it together. "Luke's gone, Dad. He cheated on me."

Bruce couldn't believe what he was hearing. "What are you talking about?"

Noah began to cry uncontrollably. "I don't...He ... I can't ... What I'm I going..."

Bruce wanted to be with his son. "Okay. Noah. I'm on my way. You just stay there okay."
