Chapter 12

Luke sat down on the side of Noah's bed. "I'm glad your leg wasn't broken."

Noah looked at his leg. "Yeah so am I."

Noah took Luke's hand. "I can't believe you came in and saved me like that."

Luke smiled. "Well, actually Jack saved you."

Noah smiled. "Maybe, but how did you know that I was there?"

Luke shrugged. "I knew you were somewhere. I could feel you. Even when everyone else wasn't sure that you were alive. I just knew that you were."

Noah nodded. "Even in my confused state, I think that I was still connected to you too and then I saw your picture and the medallion."

Luke pulled the medallion out of his pocket. "This medallion?"

Noah looked at the medallion in Luke's hand. "Yeah. You found it."

Luke nodded. "Yeah."

Noah took the medallion and put it around his neck. "I had no idea that Jill was like that. She seemed so nice. After losing her husband so recently..."

Luke was confused. "What do you mean recently. He died 15 years ago."

Noah looked at Luke. "But she said...Never mind. She also told me that you were her brother, that died in Iraq."

Luke smirked. "What?"

Noah smiled. "That's why I was confused when you kissed me. I couldn't understand why Jill's brother would do that or how you knew me."

Luke nodded. "I see."

Noah continued. "Then she came in and called me her husband. I knew that wasn't true, but I didn't know what to believe."

Luke tried to make Noah feel better. "You had no reason to doubt her. She obviously was taking care of you. The important thing is that you are back home and everything will get back to normal."

Noah looked down at the bed. "I suppose. I remember allot of things, but there are still some that are fuzzy."

Luke cocked his head. "Like what?"

Noah tried to explain. "Well, after I saw your picture, I guess that in the back of my mind I knew who you were, but Jill telling me that you were her brother confused me. I had some dreams and I don't know if that is what they were, dreams. Or if they are memories."

Luke scooted closer and took Noah's hand. "Tell me about them."

Noah looked at Luke. "Well they are all kind of melted into one. At first you were adjusting my tie and we kissed and then we were making love by a fire and the last part..." Noah bit his lip. "...the last part seemed the most real we were in the kitchen at the apartment."

Luke smiled. "That all happened."

Noah looked at Luke. "Even the time in the kitchen?"

Luke nodded. "Yep."

Noah smiled. "Wow. We've gotten very close."

Luke put his hand on Noah's stomach and began to slide it under the covers. "Yes we have. We have shared quite a bit. Maybe we can see what other memories we can stir up." He reached under Noah's gown and began to stroke his cock. He then leaned in and kissed Noah deeply.

Noah kissed Luke back and moaned into his mouth, as his excitement grew from the motion of Luke's hand. Luke continued his action, and Noah felt his release approaching, he grabbed Luke by the sides of the face and pulled him in tighter and let out a deep moan.

Noah fell back. "I remember that!"

Luke smiled. "Good. Because there has been a lot of it." He started to get up from the bed. "I better go wash my hand."

While Luke was in the bathroom, Will and Gwen came into the room. Noah looked up. He stared at first. "Will and...Gwen."

Will and Gwen smiled. "Yeah, We heard that you had some memory lost. Glad to see you remember us." Gwen said with a smile.

Luke came out of the bathroom. "Hi guys."

Will and Gwen waved. "Hi. We came by to see how Noah was doing, but we wanted to see you too."

Luke looked at the two. "Me? Why?"

Gwen was obviously excited. "We have some good news and we have you to thank. We may be adopting a baby."

Luke was surprised. "But the other day."

Gwen nodded. "I know, but we were at the hospital putting up fliers about Noah, when we went by the nursery and there was a little girl. She is so adorable Luke."

Will chimed in. "The nurse saw us looking and explained to us that the girl's mother had died from complications during the birth and that the baby was HIV positive. She told us how difficult it is to place children people think of as having a big strike against them from the start."

Gwen jumped in. "She is adorable, did I say that, anyway we fell in love with her and unless someone comes out of the woodwork. We are going to be her foster parents and eventually we will be able to adopt her."

Luke was so excited. "That is so great."

Will and Gwen hugged each other. "We know that it won't be easy. We were nervous at first, but then we remembered what you said. We have a lot of love to give a child, and this child needs it." Will added finally.

Luke smiled. "That's right." He gave both of them a big hug. "I'm so happy for you."

Gwen looked at Will again. Then back at Luke. "There's one more thing. I know that it might be premature, but assuming everything goes okay. We were wondering if you would be her godfather."

Luke looked at Noah and then back at Will and Gwen. "I'd love too."
