Noah felt amazing. He wasn't sure what time it was, or how long they'd already spent just lying around, but he didn't care. Right now, he wouldn't want to be anywhere else. He couldn't believe they'd never thought to go on a weekend away before.
They had both been out of Oakdale, but nothing like this. This was just the two of them, no drama, no interruptions, nothing to worry about back home. Just time away. Together.
Noah turned his head to get a look at the clock by the bed. 5:10pm. The sun would be setting in a few hours, and they hadn't left the bedroom all day. Hell, they hadn’t even gotten dressed. Noah could still see where their clothes had landed from the frenzied strip the night before. Although how his pants had ended up inside out, he had no clue.
We were in a hurry, he mused. He felt the familiar wave of pleasure rise within him as he remembered how the evening had turned out. And now he laid here, warm and happier than he ever thought he could be, with the man he loved in his arms.
At that moment, Luke's hand came up from his side to intertwine with Noah's. Luke’s other hand was laying beside his head on Noah's bare chest, with Noah's other hand softly running through Luke's hair. Their breathing was slow and in sync, and Noah could feel their hearts beating a similar rhythm.
Noah moved his gaze out the window, to look out at the beach. "This holiday was a great idea."
Luke had his eyes closed, enjoying the sound of Noah's heartbeat below his warm skin, "Mmm."
“I just wish we were here longer.”
Luke idly traced the back of Noah’s hand with his thumb, “Mmhmm.”
Noah chuckled. He peered down to where Luke was laying on his chest. “Oh I see, you’re a roll-over-and-sleep kinda guy.”
Luke playfully smacked Noah’s bare chest.
“Ow!” Noah replied laughingly, a show that he wasn’t hurt at all.
“I think you should know by now that I’m not.” Luke was smiling, a movement Noah could feel, rather than see.
“Yeah, but you didn’t have to hit me. That might leave a mark.” He pouted, but it would have been more effective if he had stopped smiling.
Luke opened his eyes & saw an opportunity in front of him. “Guess I should kiss it and make it better then.” And with that, he moved his mouth over to Noah’s right nipple, licking around it, then biting gently. Instinctively, he knew the line between pleasure and pain, and judged it perfectly.
“Ohhh.” Noah was no longer chuckling, as his breath hitched, and he automatically arched into Luke’s mouth.
Looks like we won't be leaving the bedroom after all, Noah thought happily.
