How ATWT changed my life
I can tell you how Luke and Noah changed my beliefs. I was a fool. I was discriminating against gay people like eveyone else. After finding this show by accident, I came to realise being gay is not something you choose to be, not something dishonorable, but something you are born with. I watched their storyline several times, both Nuke and LuRe, and now I have already joined a group to support gay rights. So congratulations for bringing such a great story on TV, as you have to know that it doesn't only serve entertainement purposes, but as well teaches lessons in life.

there is an interview with him in the latest issue of SOD where it's mentioned he has a guest part on The Mentalist.

I was under the assumption the interview wouldn't be coming out until January. I guess I forgot that in magazine lingo they always count things a month ahead. They do that with comics too. I wonder why? Oh well. Yeah, Im gonna be on the Mentalist and Dating Rules From My Future Self!
Van Hansis I think the ep of the Mentalist that I am on will be late January/early February. Dating Rules is a Web Series premiering in January. I think I'm in episode 7.

good news: i booked another movie, a really awesome short film shooting mid august in nyc.

the short film im doing is called Wedding Day. it's directed by Peter Sterling, who has exec produced such films as Happythankyoumoreplease (2010 sundance audience award winner) and Detachment with Brian Cranston, Christina Hendricks and Adrien Brody. also he is a producer on the upcoming film Predisposed with oscar winner and nominee Melissa Leo and Jesse Eisenberg. obviously, im pretty stoked.

and OMG I cant wait for this to air!!
Maggie (the woman in the pic) plays a detective on the show and it looks like Van has a cut on his nose and a split lip.. so it looks like Van's character gets his a$$ kicked by the police/gets arrested/is a possible bad guy
