May 17 2008, 1:54 AM EDT In honor of the US holiday of Father's Day, for June, pick your top 5 scenes involving the boys fathers! It doesn't have to be an example of good fathering (good luck with that with the Colonel and Damian), but just a great scene involving one of their paternal figures. May 17 2008, 2:01 AM EDT Ok...I'll lead by example! 5) Luke tells off Damian at the airport, renouncing the Grimaldi name. 4) Noah tells off Colonel Mayer at Statesville when he visited him to find out what he wanted with Ameera. 3) Luke talks to Holden about Noah after Noah doesn't reciprocate Luke's "I love you". 2) Holden thanks Noah for helping Luke to walk again on Christmas Eve, and then asks Noah to make sure Luke takes it easy. 1) Luke, Holden and the tractor...Holden tries to talk to Luke about spring break and what it means to be one of the only gay boys in his school. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. (LOVE these scenes!) 2) Luke yelling at Damian at the airport, and his moment with Holden afterward. 3) Holden thanking Noah for being there for Luke and then asking Noah to take care of him. (Christmas episode) 4) Luke and Noah see Holden being arrested at the station, Holden asks Noah to take care of Luke. (You could see how much Holden wanted to reach out to Luke and explain everything but he couldn't.) 5) The Snyder.Mayer family picnic. It's the only time the boys were trying to bond with both dads. You could feel the tension with the Colonel but Holden did his best to help everyone relax. Do you find this valuable? |

May 17 2008, 9:26 PM EDT Hey George, My five choices for ‘Whose Your Daddy’ moments are as follow. 5) Holden mans up and goes to Noah and tells him that Luke needs him after Luke sent him away on Halloween. (I know it was Lilly’s idea, but its one thing for a man to know his son is gay, and another to have enough courage to go to his son’s boyfriend and admit that he needs him more than his dad.) 4) Luke confronts Damian at the airport and Holden is there for him. (I dare anyone to watch both Holden and Luke’s faces without having your heart ripped out.) 3) Luke tells Col. Mayer “I love your son”, at police station and Noah protects him. (Perhaps the best Luke acting moment and one I hope is on his Emmy reel.) 2) Holden thanks Noah for helping Luke walk again at the Christmas table. (Just remembering that scene brings a lump to my throat. Perfect acting all around.) 1) The tractor talk. (Just mention the tractor talk to any Nuke fan, and enough said.) Holden thanking Noah at Christmas. 3. Can I mention Luke's coming out scene? Holden trying to protect Luke from Lilly's reaction, trying to calm her down. 4. Luke telling off Damian at the airport. this is one of my all time favorite, so much emotion here 2.Noah telling off his father at statesville. gotta love Noah standing up to his intimidating father 3. Luke and Holden talking about Noah in olde town when Holden noticed there is something between Luke and Noah 4. Luke and Noah tangle with the col at thanksgiving. Nuke United always a great scene to watch 5.Holden and Luke have had many great talks, one that stands out to me is the conversation they had about saying I love you and Holden helped Luke to see that Noah showed his love in many ways. Do you find this valuable? |

Noah talking to his father at the Lakeview about him being gay and how he is happy for the first time. 3. Luke telling Damian off at the airport 4. The Christmas scene, after Luke walked, but especially when Holden told Noah to watch out for Luke. 5. Luke and Noah standing up to Col Mayer at prison and Luke telling the Col that he and Noah being together is right and him being in jail is right. Do you find this valuable? |

May 30 2008, 4:21 AM EDT and my nominations are... 1) Dusty talking to Noah and convincing him to go and see Luke in hospital (for the short time they had, I thought Dusty was a great father figure to Noah, their bond would have only become stronger if he hadn't been bumped off!) 2) Either of the boy's confrontations with Col. Crazee at Statesville 3) When Holden imagines the different outcomes of asking Luke if he's gay. You can see all the emotions he's feeling, fear, confusion, sympathy, he's clearly torn apart by his suspicions... Holden at his best!) 4) Holden telling Luke to be patient with Noah after he tells him ILY and doesn't get a response... (just one of the many times he has been so supportive and reassuring to Luke) 5) When Holden punches Damian!! (Quite simply - SO satsifying!) och! Now I've started, I can think of 5 more right now!
