Anyone just bumped into Van or Jake?
Jul 4 2008, 10:46 AM EDT I was reading a TV site and someone mentioned that they had bumped into Van and a friend at the movies yesterday. Assuming that that's true - Neat! Has anyone met Van or Jake not at a fan event, but just randomly on the street, or the mall, or some place public? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 4 2008, 11:09 AM EDT While I was in NYC last month and in April. Meeting Jake at both events and just meeting Van at one from there no sorry. Being so many people on the streets walking I wouldn't been able to reconize either one right away if I did. So sorry no I haven't. It's possible this person has bumped into Van and his friend at the movies really hard saying at times because alot of people say things to get attention. Alot of times I don't believe print unless I see it in action or hear it from the person (voice) themselves. Print has bad rumors written all over it (I'm talking like magazines stuff like that) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 4 2008, 11:13 AM EDT If I did ever bump into one or the other maybe both at the sametime on the streets of Manhattan you all be the first to know. I wouldn't go running to a tv guide or newspaper to turn my story in. People deperate for money would do anything to make fast dollar. Some magazines I think pay people for their story I could be wrong though. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 4 2008, 1:52 PM EDT I don't know guys, if I met them or anyone famous on the streets or public places of any town then I would feel weird saying anything to them. If I did then it would be to say something gracious in support of their work. I grew up in Athens, Georgia which is the home of R.E.M. and the B52's and even Kim Basinger. Being the home of the University of Georgia we would see these people and many others hanging around but we would do our best to leave them be. If I met Van or Jake then I would show them the same courtesy as anyone else. But inside my head I would be saying "VAN, TIE MY TIE PLLLLEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEE!!!! 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
