Luke and Noah fashion

Nuke (particularly Noah) tends to a bit of J.Crew -- a lot of their graphic tees, especially those of east coast locations (i.e. Cape Cod) and Noah's tartan plaid shirt that Luke was unbuttoning before the police interrupted them are all items I recall folding stacks of at work. Unfortunately, because the costume designers buy ahead of time, a lot of the items are usually sold out before the episode even airs because I'll watch the show and want to pick up the item at work but then realize that the shirt was from a previous season. Just an FYI for those interested in dressing like Nuke -- buy the "location" graphic tees when they are in the store... chances are Noah will be sporting it in the near future. Also, his red hoodie he wears when he grabs Luke and tells him "even if you think Casey is cute, you still belong to me" is a constant item in our collection :) 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Really? I thought there were more Old Navy, which given their budget restraints seems to be a little more accessible.

With the time gap of when the items are sold at the store and when they actually appear on the show I'm guessing they manage to snag them on sale which is smart on the costume design team... they also wear A&F (Noah's moose polos) -- which isn't so cheap either. Do you find this valuable?

umm.... as far as budget restraints.... you forget that many daytime and evening television shows wardrobes are provided by the labels as a source of free advertising. Just like all those dresses at the Oscars, the actresses for the most part do not "buy" the items, they are provided by the designer, and it is up to the designer whether they "give" the actress the item, or request it back. Most of the jewelry (the over-the-top expensive items) are "on loan" from individual jewelers.

There also seems to be a lot of sharing of T-shirts between the two characters and they seem to keep a lot of the clothing in the wardrobe. Think of the T-shirt Luke wore during the first kiss. Noah wore the same one while packing up the cottage and these are just two examples. Luke's comment about Noah having one of his T-shirts I found pretty funny considering they've been sharing tops for over a year now. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah, that was what my budget restraint comment was based on. Hell we've even seen Parker and I think Casey wear one of the recycled t-shirts. Whatever money is coming in it's definitely not being spent on the young cast's wardrobe.

I was watching Luke's Story a few weeks back and in Part 110, Kevin is wearing that damn light blue "HYANNIS" shirt that later got worn by Noah haha Maybe it's got some sort of sentimental value...

I think if the wardrobe depart is getting any freebies, that they keep them around for a while, a really really long while lol

lol, yes I think anyone under 22 has a choice of one of five t-shirts to shoot their scene it! I think the only way they could ever do a party scene is if it's a pool party!

you make that sound like a bad thing! haha After the last time Luke and Noah went swimming, i'm all for a pool party :-)

You're spot on though, they probably just have a box of polo's and print T's named "Under 22's" and just blindly pick them out at random for the actors lol

let me just say... TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!

and... hmm.... what a novel idea! Parents should adopt this idea, it would cut down greatly on the... "But, Mommmmmmmm... she just got that new prada belt.... I want one toooooooo."
Parent: "Well, hon.... pick one out of the box."
Child: "Yippee!"
hmm..... nah... it'd never work, LOL

I swear if i ever have 2 kids close in age, i might do that - one wardrobe they just pick and choose from - so no matching outfits, and less complaining about hand me downs lol (years of having to wear my sisters outdated clothes has gotten to me haha)

and.... it would seem as though that light green oxford, with the white stripes has been worn by EVERYONE. Someone was wearing it during the camping trip, the still in High School Luke went on when he came out to Kevin, and the teen-age strangler (maddie's sister) got caught. Only thing is, when Noah wears it, he wears it for days on end. Do you find this valuable?

I was watching one of the latest Luke Story episodes Part 194 i think, and Faith is actually wearing the grey hooded sweat jumper that Luke wears when he's in the wheelchair! I'm going to imagine that it's Luke's and she's borrowing because the thought that Luke would be borrowing Faiths clothes is slightly disturbing haha Do you find this valuable?

too true! on the other hand.... Faith looks up to and relies on her big brother Luke, it is not at all odd for her to want to wear his clothing as a symbol of how much her brother means to her.
